Sathya Sai Baba claimed he was reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba. The who's who of Shirdi never believed him. he continued claiming so all his life, sponsored authors to write books on him. This was all the marketing he had to do to keep his shop of magician running. If he provided water to villages or opened schools colleges for the students, what is so much superhuman about it ? So many people are doing this and dont even disclose ! Finally, he died (as a cursed human) after so many years of disability. Doctors couldn't treat him. He couldnt treat himself ! He died 11 years before his own prophesy. His death is a wake up call for his own followers. In this age of logic, they should understand Sathya Sai was an ordinary human being who tried all his life to keep his followers engaged in cheap magicians tricks and that he was nowhere close to God.

Dear Sir, Sathya Sai did live to 96. 96 lunar years. Baba did talk in lunar years concerning people's ages. Since Sai wasf 96 there was no way that they could prevent His departure. People who weren't even His devotees, whom I knew, told me beforehand that He finished His Sathya sai Work and was getting ready for the next chapter. Great Masters like Ananadamayi Ma recognized Sathya SAi as a Poona Avatar and they never set foot in Puttarparthi. The average person is clueless unless he has experienced a miracle directly. The sleepy hamlet has had just one great story to tell in all these years -- that Lord Rama had prayed at the Shri Ambegalu Shri Krishna temple before he set out to Lanka to battle Ravana. THIS IS WHAT IS REPORTED ABOVE. HOW CAN RAMA PRAY TO KRISHNA WHO IS LATER INCARNATION?
Even educated people believing this kind of stuff is hurting. What ever may be the religion but we should not believe in self proclaimed people like him. He may done some good things for poor but that cannot make him as GOD.

Jaffer bhia, even educated muslims believing in Mohammed who claimed an angel came and dictated Quran to him. Religion is for fools. They exist in every religion and parts of the world. Christians believe Mary became pregnent by God. If they had Lie detector tests during Mohammed's time and DNA testing in Jesus Chriest birth time. These two religions do not exist in the world today. I am not supporing Prem baba or any Tom, Dick and Harry baba either. Do you have the guts to question Mohammed's claim? I don't think so?

absolutely. good point. there was no one in those days to debunk the miracles! all religion seek to entrap people and milk them for the continuity - if you see the church as an institution is stronger than christ, same with islam which has the mosques being the center of their lives.
