Buffet and Gates also amass wealth from customers in terms of decent margins!
Once they realised money alone cannot bring happiness,then they have started philanthropy.
Nobody on this earth is philanthropic from the day he/she has born!
Baba never amassed wealth and for your kind information there are many instances where donations are rejected.Its not that every donation is accepted and all donations have been accounted and will be accounted.

There are a lot of disbelievers and ignorant people stating their prejudices repeatedly. Even the scientists admit that energy and matter are mutually convertible!Anyone who has studied the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali(the father of yoga)that with intense concentration and sadhana powers to alter matter are possible.History is replete with people who have demonstrated miraculous powers! Sai Baba has often said that miracles are his calling cards. Once he attracted them he would direct them to a better life-which was his main aim. His sayings like "love all serve all" or "hands that help are better than lips that pray" or "help ever hurt never" etc point to the profound love he had for people and his desire to help them in times of need. The hospitals he built for free treatment of the poor; the educational institutes he created to provide educational excellence and ethical living;the massive projects he undertook to provide drinking water to millions and the spontaneous help he gave to victims of natural disasters are examples of love and concern of fellow human beings!A disgruntled British devotee spread a canard against him in multi media and this was internationally blown up. well said,there are always people who zomm on make believe self created Illusions.
That's fine because they are brought up by Parent's Society and schools or Social influence to Doubt other persons Sincerity.
This said, SAI BABA did great service to His States Population by a World Class Free Hosptal and Great Water Sytem very Noble Cause.
On issue of Religion, He accepted all religious persons as his own.
His books Parth Sarthi and others though simple and clear withough Flashy arguements , which can be a distraction for simple , Naturally religious People, which were drawn to him, will be a companion for them for Years to come.
When I was in surat in 1967 I visited one devotee of SAI BABA, a rail road employee,In his prayer room He has Picture of Shri Sai Baba Which had Natural Vibhuti(ASH) deposite over his picture. This was my first exposure to Love of manifested between,Guru/God and Desciple.
Now to Scepticks who are not exposed this aspect of Indian Religious Reality- It is difficult to Convey- what it means.
Though I was exposed to Religious Environment sinse my Birth, My Scientific Mind Never really Immersed into This aspect of Religion.
Hope I learn atleast one thing From Satya Sai Baba, to Serve best of My ability to People come in contact with me.

I am glad to see a crystal clear sane message amidst the sea of insane comments! Baba's Love and his way of life canot be understood properly by distancing away from him. One has to come in to his fold to experience the same and then decide. But unfortunately several so called rationalists never understood this simple fact. Also earthly plane beings cannot judge properly those in spiritual plane and those that understood this fact never disputed Sree Satya Sai Baba. Now that He is no more physically, it is better to lead a life on his tenets and reap the benefits.

This one is particularly well said. No one has seen GOD but I dont thing SATYA SAI BABA was far from that. Ordinary Mortal Doing Extraordinary Things for the betterment of Society and spreading the message of Love was what SATYA SAI was.
