So much of slander! I do not understand. No one forces anyone else to believe or not to! It is one's free will. Then how does it affect another person? It appears just like when a person with shallow knowledge in one religion abuses another religion! Everyone is not born alike. Not everyone can be a good singer, or a good artist or a good dancer; some virtues are born with you. We all have some level of energy within us, some at very basal level, some at varying levels of evolution. With sadhana, we can raise our energy levels to higher planes. When it reaches multiply higher levels, our energy starts to resonate with the cosmic energy we call God. To reach this level from the basal level will take probably a whole lifetime of thapasya. But some people are born with higher levels of evolution of their intrinsic energy. They are the blessed ones who are able to raise their energy levels to resonate with the Cosmic energy. When one attains that level, his energy or soul or whatever we call it, reaches a state no longer bound by matter, or material body, it can transcend time and space. Goodness emanates in abundance. People, according to the state of evolution of their own energy level, get attracted by this energy source. Just imagine the scenario of 100 people going to a temple, there may be (n) number who go to pray to pass an exam, to tide over a difficulty, for many personal gains. Immediately out of the temple, (n) number start acting to hurt others! Is this bhakti?
Now that is rubbish, a body of a the top political person who is the ruler (a King Or Queen or a close relation)only lies in state and not of a commoner. In India and any democratic country the body never lies in state it only lies if the country is a kingdom.

I'm no big follower of Sathya Sai .. but still respect him for his charity,development work, instilled a sense of discipline among younger generation,spread with a message of love, devotion,service, humility and respect.
For me Sathya sai is a true legend and more than Jesus or any Arab joker

No one would bother if he does with probity and people follow with senses. It does matter, when elected government cheating their citizens to support them openly for free gifts. It is just an attempt to separate state and religion.
It is an effort to force government to disinvest that encouragement on religios institutions to invest directly on citizens to raise awareness through education rather than forcing the citizens to submit themselves in not questioning their violations for which they were elected including buying votes for 100 to 500 bucks.
The problem with Indian Government is when western world has popes and muslim worlds have mullahs , the indian government in collusion with religious institutions have come to conclusion in forcing indians to be religious when they are not infact religious but illiterate, poor, and ignorant. The efforts of government to rub religious sentiments will be rebuffed including other religions spoiling indian environment to the extent of cleaning their corrupted cultures through ignorance.
