how can you run a trust effectively with one 85 year old beind the signing authority, i am sure he must have divided the responsibility and given poa to a number of people to sign cheques. i had visited him a few years back in banglore and the whole place was very organised,it is obvious he had some dedicated people workind for him.

Hi, the best service to be done to Baba, on his death, is to be true to his teachings.
Let us be proactive, instead of being reactive.
Remember , as Swami Chinmayananda himself, who had taken the blessings of Baba himself before creating the Chinmaya Mission for the spiritual and material rejuvenaiton of India and the world said , "Sin is never in action . It is always in reaction."
Proactivity is virtuous behaviour.
Let us endeavour to be proactive in each and all situations and shun reactivity no matter what the provocation.
This is a valuable spiritual exercise and sadhana in itself and build tapas within one.
...Then the trust should immediately hand over the property to the govt. Govt, should take immediate measures and take control over the railway and airport functioning at puttaparthi. Otherwise, tomorrow another individual would like to have private construction of govt projects.

The best way to use the funds after Baba's death is to hand over the trust to Anna Hazare, if not more he can atleast continue the social welfare programmes and ensur that the funds are used for good cause.

He not only inspired people to do meditation and devote for inner peace and energy. He also done tremendous work on material success of people. for higher quality of life. he created so many jobs due several economic activity he initiated around his work. thats what india need. Raj Yogi. we have enough wasted time on naked fakir, there is nothing great in walking around semi naked, mosquito biting and dieing of disease. i wish some sai baba were in north india too. North indian guru usually like to give big talks, emotional phillosophy. Baba had created many institutions for the material and spiritual empowerment of Indians and people the world all over.
The hospital he established in Bangalore itself has done 4 lakh free heart surgeries for the poor who could not afford it.
He has done more service for the poor in India than anyone else.

Satya Sai Baba was pure love. He came as an Avatar for the good of all sentient creatures. He did his work silently serving millions throughout the world spiritually and materially, and left his body.
The difference between Satya Sai Baba and the other preceding Avatars was that Sai became famous throughout the world in his own lifetime .
The best tribute we can pay to Sai and all the other great masters like Krishna, Buddha ,Christ and Lao Tsu is to follow their example ,and serve the world with love, compassion and humility by becoming love itself.
In a sense, probaby, the sweetest sounds rendered were the sound of the footsteps of these masters walking in this world steeped in pain, misery and ignorance.

Avatars don't die in hospital bed, they leave for heavenly abode at their own will and at the time that they have chosen .
No doubt Satya Sai Baba helped millions and he will always be remembered for it but his does not warrant his comparison with Krishna and Buddha. We are not helping any cause by this comparison.

rightly sad. we should remember him for the work he has done. He should not be criticised.
Sai Baba is still alive. He is Human mankind well wisher and did a lot to the spiritual upliftment and well being of millions. But many believe that medical treatment to baba is neglected by union Govt and AP Govt deliberately.
As for the Sai's trust money, the current trust members cannot be trusted due to their political linkage (union home minister, governor of AP) and also Industrialists (RIL top boss). Many know that. It is really very unfortunate situation. But hope all goes well.
