The AICC General body meeting for the year 2012 will be held in Tihar jail for the convenience of all Congress leaders including Prime Minister and UPA Chairperson. Already preparations are there for making the Jail as a permanent venue for UPA Cabinet meetings.
Definitely CBI has delayed the arrest of Mr Kalmadi despite having clear documentary evidence with them. Having arrested now Mr Kalmadi, what is next is the question before the people of India, will he be punished or let off free after a few days. PM has recently stated that those who found guilty by the CBI in any of the ongoing enquiries into different SCAMS would be dealt with severely and suitably punished. Will he have the political courage to punish Mr Kalmadi, yet to be seen???? At least, will the PM have the courage to confisticate the amazing wealth and properties held by Mr Kalmadi and added to the exchequer of the country to carry out develomental work. Another issue related to bringing back into the country the BLACK MONEY deposited in foreign banks by the Businessmen, Politicians/Ministers/MPs is now engaging the attention of PMO, there is no point in appointing any Committees to go into the matter as stated in the affidavit filed before the Apex Court, as it will serve only as an eye-washer and twist the public attention. PMO must give directives to the Enforcement Directorate to directly confisticate the black money from these foreign banks to the country and add to the exchequer of the country as in the case of all other Ministers like Kalmadi, Sharat Pawar, Praful Patel and many others in the UPA Govt. The people of India must unitely raise their voice on the above issues and thereby ensure getting these moneys to the Nation for developmental activities.
The other day, ICON of INDIAN YOUTH told in Bengaluru that BJP govt in Karnataka should be sacked because of corruption charges. By the same breath, how about sacking UPA 2 Govt for CGames, 2G, Adarash etc? This Rahul seems to be suffering from selective amnesia.
This is very unfair to all the Indian politicians, from all the parties. Frankly if they are to be prosecuted for corruption, it will discourage all these saintly persons, in all the political parties today. What is not nderstood that, the common Indian is a corrupt person by the way he thinks. Obiviously their leaders are corrupt. Why punish those poor souls. Punish them only after confessing that we, Indians, are corrupt by nature.
Lot late still good UPA did something. But the real question is what happens next, how many politicians and bureaucrats got the verdict in courts? I still cant believe first time MP Kanimozhi got 200 crores. Karuna wants his own channel to counter Marans, now his own daughter is is trouble.
