Not a baba
by Entrepreneurs on Apr 25, 2011 02:40 PM  | Hide replies

I am Hindu and I am proud to support the views against Puttaparthi's chicanery. I would never call him a baba (Shridi Saibaba is the real baba).

I would consider him a high profile philanthropist who collected money from foreign countries and used it for free medication to poor.He just used magic tricks and religion as a platform to achieve it.Thats all to it (though I am not sure about other/real motives behind this mission)

Four reasons to prove he is not a Baba:
1) Coloring his hair with dye at this age ( No yogi or baba would give importance to external appearance)
2) Use of cheap magic tricks obviously detectable with rational thinking.
3) Always sitting on golden throne ( A baba or ascetic will not do this)
4) Self proclamation that he has attained Nirvana (or the extreme state of bliss). No yogi/baba would self claim that he has attained enlightenment. Nithyananda also did the same thing.

Not only him , other than Sai's believers i take others as non believers who are much larger than the believing crowd, so it makes sense what entreoreneurs just said, his pomp is preposterous.

Let us be proactive, not reactive...
by satyaki ravindran on Apr 25, 2011 01:25 PM

Hi, the best service to be done to Baba, on his death, is to be true to his teachings.

Let us be proactive, instead of being reactive.

Remember , as Swami Chinmayananda himself, who had taken the blessings of Baba himself before creating the Chinmaya Mission for the spiritual and material rejuvenaiton of India and the world said , "Sin is never in action . It is always in reaction."

Proactivity is virtuous behaviour.

Let us endeavour to be proactive in each and all situations and shun reactivity no matter what the provocation.

This is a valuable spiritual exercise and sadhana in itself and build tapas within one.

Government has to strictly audit all the ashrams in india every 3 months

Baba had created many institutions for the material and spiritual empowerment of Indians and people the world all over.

The hospital he established in Bangalore itself has done 4 lakh free heart surgeries for the poor who could not afford it.

He has done more service for the poor in India than anyone else.

And the institutions he has set will keep on rendering service to the poor in India.

Folks , i think satyaki has met baba in person and got hypnotized, leave him alone , cant make the deaf listen. After all Baba is the son of a local sorcerer who learnt gimmicks such as hiding vibhuthi pill inside fingers, holding a linga in towel and swallowing it by hiding towel and throwing it out ,take things in and out of his suspeciouslty long robe and may be also hypnotize people who come in contact. I was agnostic towards baba before his death , watching his videos made me think he is pure fake... Tell me one thing - even if u genuinely throw a linga out ( and proclaim to be god ) why would u show it to the crowd like a bowler showing the ball after a 5 wicket haul. For argument sake , if u think god exists and materialises things from thin air - do u think he will show it around, pure elemantary and amature sorcery this is.

Sai was the embodiment of sweet love and compassion...
by satyaki.ravindran@rediffmail.com on Apr 25, 2011 11:50 AM

Satya Sai Baba was pure love. He came as an Avatar for the good of all sentient creatures. He did his work silently serving millions throughout the world spiritually and materially, and left his body.

The difference between Satya Sai Baba and the other preceding Avatars was that Sai became famous throughout the world in his own lifetime .

The best tribute we can pay to Sai and all the other great masters like Krishna, Buddha ,Christ and Lao Tsu is to follow their example ,and serve the world with love, compassion and humility by becoming love itself.

In a sense, probaby, the sweetest sounds rendered were the sound of the footsteps of these masters walking in this world steeped in pain, misery and ignorance.

Thank you Sai, and thank you all you sweet masters. My humble salutations and love to you all.....

Why are you guys worried about other people's mourning or not. Each person has his right. You cannot force anyone to do against his/her wishes. Also, a person need not show it to the outside world that he/she is mourning.

yes i guess you haven't understood as to what i am asking.

the truth lies somewhere else and it is very disturbing. we only talk of nexus between criminals-politicians-bureaucrats etc etc. but there are some which lie in between but then they are invisible.

The best way to get black money into white is allowing it to pass through charity and religious work. and additionally, one wins blessings for that.
