Wherelse in India, voters don't struggle?
by a g on Apr 20, 2011 04:45 PM

This author seems to be under a delusion that voters in rest of india are living a blissful life. Whereelse in India do voters lead a comfortable and blissful life that the author is worried about the struggling voters of N. Bengal. Don't know why rediff despite repeated comments by lot of readers has time and again proven that it was, is and will be a mouth-piece of UPA in general and Congress in particular. Its a well known fact that the entire nation is struggling under the corrupt and inept rule of UPA (particularly congress). So, the author's worry on N Bengal voters seems to be a case of over-reaction! Rediff - Start reporting articles that make more sense!!!

Gautam's Jokery
by sujit sengupta on Apr 20, 2011 04:30 PM

Few days back Gautam deb put allegations that out of 226 candidates of TMC,225 had been paid 15 lakhs each. After a few minutes he said that Partha Chatterjee,Subrata Mukherjee and Somen Mitra is not at all aware of this payment.
He forgot that all the three names he mentioned are canndidates and are out of those 226 candidates. If 225 candidates have taklen money...it is impossible that atleats two of the three names mentioned would not know it..(because he alleges that they have taken money).

Even the caders are now laughing at his jokery. If someone wants to lie,he should have a good howmeewrok and through knowldge on what he is going to lie.Gautam doesn't even have that.

Do you all know that she has danced on the car of Jaiprakash Narayan in front of University Institute?
I like the milkman story. However, TMC is no different that Gundas.
I am not sure what will happen to us who want goes to calcutta every year twice.
Till today, my friends (brothers and sisters) can come home even in late hours. What will happen to them? I am afraid of them. Can anyone of you stay responsible if something happens?

When I was a child,TMC was not born.To be honest,Communism as a concept attracted me and I have heard about communist leaders like Prafulla sen. I appriciated their policies but now when I see communists like Anuj Pandey,Communists like Sushanto Ghosh,I feel that communism has been insulted by these killers.

Your comment makes sense. That's truth. In fact I know many communists who came out of parties because of corruptions. And I know many communist who started increasing their properties as well. At the same time, I know both communist and TMC persons who still work for a very low salary and I see how little they earn.
So yes, though things have not gone the way it should have in the past, I can differentiate how TMC leaders in my locality are and how communist leaders are. I go to Kolkata once in a year, but meet both. It may be area specific, but I can safely approach a Communist leader but I am afraid when I see the TMC cadres together and their way.
So Yes, it is area specific. But TMC can not be a substitute to run a state.

Well, your experience is your experience.Mine iss tottaly different.I still see Chairman of KOlkata corporation(TMC Candidate) walki ng through the local market to buy fish at cash price.I still see TMC councilor walking out every moerning to check whether the local tubewells are working or not.
Actually People now seek change and it is too early to say "TMC cannot be a substitute"..because we have not yet tested them.Lets make a change and bring TMC in power to test them.Once they fail to deliver,we once again have th power to throw them away too.

Dont get tensed.. Win and defeat are part of life. This time you will surely loose.. But strengthen your tie up with BJP and hope for a better chance next time. LS polls are only 2 and half years away. Left front mandarins have already conceeded defeat. You are going to get atmost 12 seats in north bengal. Take my words you wont cross 70. Lf is going to fare much worse than AC Nielson predicted.

Left front, better left front, more better left front, more and more better left front goverment formed by CPM years together only by rigging, scintiefic rigging, high tech rigging, computerised IT rigging.
Except in 1982 in all other elections CPM never got vote of the PEOPLE to come in power in West Bengal.
