India US Bon Homie favourable for Pakistan Govt
by Ujwala Kulkarni on Apr 22, 2011 01:53 PM  | Hide replies

India is only a big MARKET for US. A source of cheap manpower and a huge market for their low-tech-high-cost products jeans, shoes, burgers, colas and the likes. Ever wonder why an American pair of shoes or jeans is often costlier than a colour TV or a microwave oven made elsewhere? Interestingly, the products bearing American labels are also made in low cost Asian hubs. Vietnam, Bangladesh are often preferred as production costs are too high in say India. The craze for American brands often makes all the difference.

Pakistan, on the other hand, has always been a darling of the US. Their relationship has withstood the test of time. Nothing Pak says or does seems to make any difference. B. Hussain Obama, while in India, had attributed this to the size (bigness of Pakistan). But is there more to it than that?

Now the question that arises is that if US doesn't make its money in India, how will it keep Pakistan government (not people) in gravy and also provide them toys of destruction - like warplanes, AWACS and Harpoons - free of charge?

Pakistan is the darling of USA only by default due to fatal error of Pt Nehru and I.Gandhi Govts' hobnobbing too much with Russia, there by antagonising USA.And now Russia sadly betray ed us,by running after USA.Hence,it is solely our fault of wrong fore ign policy.

instead of aping the west, india and china should develop their security arsenal and methods. And avoid show-offs of a failed and hyped economy.

China is the rising worldpower. USA is on a steep decline and is only latching on to india for jobs and some say in south asia. America is a proven snake. India would be wise to stay true to russia as thier main ally.
The best thing to do is China-india-pak-iran make a asian alliance and rule the world.
Its high time for the colored ppl of the world to rule and let the whiteman watch.

Total nonsense, I've seen white people in USA more reliable and sincere to brown Indians, than the "whiter-than-white" snakehead-Chinese, Pakis or Iranis. USA is a lot more honest country than the freaky neighbors in Asia. When we attack China from South, USA will attack them from North, East-Asian allies from East, and Europe from West. That's how it works.

I doubt India or pakistan have any long term planning as being portrayed here....each govt or leader in both countries have the one point agenda of making money and staying in power...if they have to lick US or china, hardly matters,..

You pakistani's are too egocentric to admit partition was a mistake. Moslims in secular India and USA enjoy better standard than your safe-haven Islamic Theocracy of Pakistan. You're a totally failed state: failed to achieve even the goals your country has set for itself, which was to improve life and freedom of Moslims inside Pakistan. Any Pakistani that does somehow realize India is the better nation, is quickly hung as a traitor by your terror Sharia Regime of Pakistan. Why don't you people introspect, and peep into your own country, before criticizing India, Asia or even EU. Your people swore a lifelong unconditional and suicidal hate towards India, and it has defeated your own purpose, which was to have peace, love and harmony among Moslim community. Our moslims in India enjoy that a lot more than you, and are ashamed of Pakistan and your baseless importance on exclusivity of your distorted version of Islam, at the expense of all other life, love and the universal God.

Islamabad thought it could keep USA hypnotised in anti-India trances forever. Islamabad had only themselves fooled. By nature of US and Indian federations, they were bound to find common ground, despite contradictions of the cold-war, or should I say false-war? So as like seeks like we see US-India convergence, but also Pak-China convergence based on common hate towards secular democracies, esp. India.

By the way, China's stand on Kashmir is not complicated...it's biased, as China now illegaly occupies a quarter of the Jammu-Kashmir state. Hence China dares not make an open stand, lest the well-informed point out China's hand in the invasion of J&K, a region that legally acceded to India...in ENTIRETY.
