If Geelani/Roy/Sen/Farooq Abdullah/Mahesh Bhatt can say anything that is against the integrity of the nation and get away in the name of Free Speech/Sickularism why some Sickularists/Intellectuals are spewing venom against Advani/Vajpayee in the Babri Masjid demolition case saying they made provocative speeches and motivated karsevaks to destroy the monument. Why this double speak.Mahesh Bhatt/Digvijay Singh/Roy/Antulay are spewing daily venom against the Majority in the name of Saffron Terror that too without any proof and all of these traitors Intellectuals/Sickularists are silent and supporting them but as soon as Some right wing leader makes a statement against Jihadi Terror/Conversions these same Insects will jump upon them like hungry Vultures. The most recent example being Sickulars criticising Anna Hazare's support of Modi. All these traitors including that Dalaal from NDTV Barkha Dutt should be first shot then only we can live in peace in this country.
He is responsible for the deaths of scores of policemen and for destroying tens of schools. He is responsible for depriving villagers of means of education, but he is an honourable man.

Just read rediff headline news : 'Judiciary is worse than Indian politicians'..says Nitin Gadkari..
Gadkari is a responsible politician I guess...whereas Sen's wife is a woman who wants to save her husband from life imprisonment !!
Re: Re: False right wing propaganda

A wife would never want her husband to get life imprisonment.Nothing wrong if she takes help of xtian religious group to secure her husband from custody...even AmitabhBacchachan acted in a movie called AndhaKanoon..every common Indian says that we have no faith in the judiciary..who will not say if he/she sees injustice meted out to his/her near/dear ones !!

OM Shanti can u elaborate what is the role of Christian group in the agitation for Binayak Sen What is their motive? These organisations if they are so interested in justice delivery why aren't they agitating for justice in the Mumbai Bomb Blasts or 26/11 or are these events not much to their liking due to a no-linkage with a Christian ideology. If u r so interested in Free speech/Justice system in this country then u should not pick and choose issues for that. The involvement of any Christian groups will only point to their interests being involve somewhere or the other and it is not a secret that Missionary conversions are very active in the very areas of Maoist infestation and only recently did these very insects killed a Swamiji who was working for Majority welfare.

Binayak Sen and his wife played key roles in the foundation of the set up the Chhattisgarh Mukti Morcha's Shaheed Hospital which is owned and operated by a workers' organization and a community-based NGO called Rupantar.[17] He is also an advisor to Jan Swasthya Sahyog, a health care organization.[18] He has also been published in the prestigious British medical journal The Lancet (in its edition of 12 February 2011[19]) where he talks about the severe inaccessibility of the healthcare to the poor in India.

Twenty-two Nobel laureates from around the world wrote to India's President and Prime Minister and Chhattisgarh state authorities. They said Sen should be allowed to travel to the US to receive the Jonathan Mann Award for Global Health and Human Rights. "We also wish to express grave concern that Dr Sen appears to be incarcerated solely for peacefully exercising his fundamental human rights," the letter said. This is "in contravention of Articles 19 (freedom of opinion and expression) and 22 (freedom of association) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights - to which India is a state party - and that he is charged under two internal security laws that do not comport with international human rights standards," it added.[41][42]
Doctors across India started holding free clinics for the poor in tribute to the example of Sen and to peacefully campaign for his release

Doctors across India started holding free clinics ................ why did they wait for such a long time? TheSon andDaughter-in-Law of the late BabaAmte (both qualified Doctors) have been working for the upliftment of the tribals and lepers at their AnandvanAshram for the past several decades. Why don't we hear about their noble works? Whose interests are these "humanrights activists" protecting?

Prakash Amte grew up in Anandwan, an ashram and rehabilitation center for leprosy patients in Maharashtra founded by his father, the renowned Gandhian humanitarian Murlidhar Devidas Amte, or Baba Amte. Prakash was busy with postgraduate surgical studies in Nagpur when, in 1974, he volunteered to take over a new project begun by Baba Amte among the Madia Gonds. He and his wife Mandakini abandoned their urban practices and, in a leap of faith, moved to remote Hemalkasa.

After marryingPrakash, MandakiniLeft her governmental medical job and moved to HemalkasaTo eventually start a hospital, a school,......Their two sons, DigantAdoctor, and AniketAn engineer, have also dedicated their lives to the same causes as their parents.[6][7] In 2008, PrakashandMandakini were given the MagsaysayAward for CommunityLeadership.[8]

The present lot of Maoists have lost all their ideologies. Have you ever heard of the Maoists attacking any corrupt PoliticianOrBabu? Only lowly paid PoliceConstables and someTribals opposed to them branding them as PoliceInformers areKilled by them.
Today'sMoaists are more or less extortionMafias. I am telling you from my first hand experience after visiting two of the most naxal infested areas in India viz. Dantewade and Gadchiroli. They are also against all kinds of developements. They have destroyedSchools (just like theTalibanis are doing in SwatAndAfghanisan). Private Contractors are notallowed to construct Roads in Dantewade and Gadchiroli. The onerous task has been entrusted to BRO (BorderRoadsOrganization). Is it their duty to build roads in the heartlands of ourCountry??

@JGN your opinion about the maoist is absolulately correct but your opinion about Dr Sen is cent percent wrong. He is somebody who feels for the poor and dedicated his life towards the service of this poor tribals.
Today maoist have been able to penetrate this places only because of us.We have never bothered to think of this section of the society. I too had a first hand experience at daltangonj area of jharkhand around fifteen yrs back. After interacting with a local I was not been able to make out how those people were surviving with such a meagre income. A large section of the society is not reaping any benefits of economic liberalisation. Now because of this maoist menace we have started focussing on these belts not out of love but out of of fear

kallol mukherjee, yes I do agree with you. It is an unholy nexus between the MoneyLender-Politician-Mafia that is running the affairs in these kind of TribalBelts. The illiterate poor tribals are exploited by every one (includig the so-called Naxals who are supposed to be protecting them)! The benefits of economic liberalization has not reached a large part of our country's population. The corrupt Politicians andBabus are responsible for that also.
