Singh is not smart. How can he say that a congress leader approached him with recommendation? Now Mr Singh's days in office will be numbered. He should have been smart like Bharadwaj of Karnataka. Blame BJP for everything. He could have said a national BJP leader (May be Advani) approached him. That would have given singh a lot of publicity and made him dear to Italian Madam
It is high time we scrapped these archaic & ornamental posts like Governors, Lt Governors, etc.They are relics of the British Raj. They are a huge drain on taxpayers' money and serve no purpose except to place retired politcians & favourite Babus in positions of comfort. What is the value this bl00dy Iqbal Singh brought to the Lt Governor's position?

bravo. i agree totally. governors are white elephants at best. they are in no position to serve the people of state - nor must these political appontees have the right to interfere with the business of state run by elected state govts - and yet they live royally off taxpayers' money. the era of british residents and governors' is long gone. india is not a colonial country. kick the s0 b s out.
how can a dummbo write an official recommendation letter for an unknown person ?. Even a child canot beleive what he says. The congies can write PM a reco letter for selling the country to Pakis/Chinkies if they can be paid correctly..
