winning elections
by ramakrishna seetharaman on Apr 13, 2011 05:39 AM

The clture of voting for good people and good party is gone from the last General/Assembly Election and now the same will be repeated with money power ad corrupt oficials from the Booth Clerk(who puts theindelible ink in the finger) to the CEC,CVC,Judges, not to speak of the Politicians beind them both in the Sate including the scalled PM.The ord.people weho only cone to vote (except a few middle class group who come to vote)wil have their votes marked against the symbols of the money-giving ruling psrty with Central support since they are not bothered or do not understand about Scams, irrespective of Crores shown in the TV /Newspapers.
This time also DMK will be there to form theGovt (I am not telling eleted by the people)by the manipulaion of EVMs and corupt people all around, including olice,VanDrivers(czarrying the EVMs after te Polls),counting people upto CEC.
God abve the country.

Both DMK and ADMK are weak now
by Krish on Apr 13, 2011 12:27 AM  | Hide replies

Irony of it is that ADMK and DMK are weak now and cannot win without the support of sundry parties run on the basis of caste and divisiveness. DMK more so, MuKa is like Dritharashtra like blind fondness for clan has taken DMK down from it's glory. Stalin had to wait for 2 decades to become Dy CM- even chuthala and Ashok Chavan waited less. However the rest of the Muka family climbed up in a few years. That is going to kill the DMK forever.
Cinestars will not be successful in TN, history tells us. Only MGR and Jaya have made it big, almost everyone else bit the dust unless they took to politics seriously. However these caste based parties will ruin TN.

End of Dravidian Parties
by Kalyan Raman on Apr 12, 2011 11:46 PM  | Hide replies

The end of Dravidian Parties will be the beginning of true development of Dravidian states. The fact that the states have come so far inspite of these parties show they have tremendous potential.

There is no room for caste politics here. If the DMK is cocksure of its victory for its performance in 5 years, then why are they distributing money to public left, right & centre? Why are they then saying that its better to have same alliance party ruling in centre & state to reap advantage? Do they mean that UPA govt in centre will mete out step-motherly treatment to the rival parties ruling the state? Does this mean that DMK never believesin democracy?
The fact is that DMK has proved to be the worst lot going by the law & order problem each district is facing. Particularly, a CM's kin is indulging in rowdyism in madurai bears testimony to this fact.

Karunanidhi is an Atheist Communist who draws inspiration from the failed soviet state. The policies such as free gifts will drive the state to poverty and only benefit the power centre. Time for a theist mixed economy state with capitalist leanings.

This shows how hollow you DMK supports are- brahmins votes are worthless in TN, even vanniyar or Thevar one can accept. I hope ADMK is not relying on votes from a 3% community which does not bother to vote anyway, for winning!! That will be hilarious!

Most Brilliant Brahmins have already left TN and living in USA or elsewhere even in Delhi. So forget about Brahmins. The other fools should decide the destiny. either they vote for DMK and get doomed another 5 years or ADMK and get fumed another 5 years. No alternative there. One option this time give BJP a chance even though their candidates and leadership is week in TN. but then it would be better than devils and doomsters.

When ADMK looted, the amma went to jail- and all the central and state govt together could come up was a few hundred chappals and sarees. Now both Sonia and MuKa have more than enough to provide as many sarees and chappals for every citizen of the country! And they would still have change to live luxuriously in Switzerland. Corruption is universal in India, it is the scale we are talking about.
