Yoga is nothing but stretching excercises with mind absorbed in the religion or spirituality you believe in. There is no need for this show off. You can learn from media, tv etc. Hindus want the total ownership of Yoga, and if it was in their hands, they will charge money for even using this word because they are all for the money. A genuine yogi just keeps it to himself or herself. The phoniest yogi ramdev charges up to US 1000 dollars to watch him do basic gymnastics from close by. I think this is ridiculous.

yes, since yoga leads to harmony with the absolute behind all forms of faith-based worships. hinduism, as a way of life allowing many forms of worship with faith, respecting all other faiths also, also belives that not only hatha yoga, but also bhakti, karma, raaja, gjnaana and paraa-bhakti yogas, all of them really belong to all the noble religions of mankind.
