Was It about the Kerala Election
by Shameem Muhammed on Apr 12, 2011 12:32 AM  | Hide replies

I feel that the writer deliberately hide the fact that Kerala topped in the head count of the Democratic Believers and Malayalees are always use their voting rights based on their individual assessment and political views than any biased views or blind party supports. That is why Kerala is one of the state where political parties faces most anti incumbent factor.

Can Rediff hire better writers please?
by gmenon1967@rediffmail.com on Apr 11, 2011 11:07 PM

This article has been written so carelessly. Quite astonishing to note that the research is way below substandard. Very contentious statements and poor quality of writing. Its poorly written content such as this that has drastically reduced the value of rediff. A lot of the points are opinionated and not based on facts. Wonder how someone is qualified to write about a state and represent its people and its values. Very very disappointing piece of work ( if you can call this 'a piece of work' by this amateur and insensitive potrayal of an entire state.

Ideology has taken a back seat
by Pradeep Kumar on Apr 11, 2011 07:45 PM

Mr. Bhadrakumar, In most parts of Malappuram district any Tom.Dick and Harry can win in an IUML ticket. Ideology has a very strong strong influence in decision making. Otherwise not even a single minister could have been reelected from the ruling coalitions.

by Pradeep Kumar on Apr 11, 2011 07:38 PM

Mr.Bhadrakumar, can u travel to the outskirts of Trivandrum under the nose of the rulers, to villages around Vizhinjam? They have highly pouted water to drink and potable is non existent. The same is the story of most of the villages in the coastal area. U can only see the skodas and Hondas owned by a few.
