Indians should learn to accept realty
by Rk Sharma on Apr 12, 2011 03:19 AM  | Hide replies

My friends, nobody tells truth about US, it is open and sweet jail, Indians don't tell truth when come to India. what is freedom in this country, these are polite on face but when they will backstab you nobody knows, so much of discrimination happens, in India even a common labor has mind to apply to judge the context, here it is all robotic, nobody has brain to understand things with his/her own mind. I use to hate Indians for some things like jealousy, not helping each other in jobs, etc when i came intially to USA but with years i learned what americans are in reality. I remember a wise Indian told me wait and than form opinion when i said to him, wow white girls are so polite, they talk so sweetly, don't ask those degrees well settlement etc which i see in india, After years i realized that the wise old man was right, it is all rules and rules and rules and living with robots, These people whole life search for love, means difficult to explain what this country is all about, India is far better inspite of problems. I use to hear from South Indians well in USA we are respected, my foot, all are slaves in companies, yes i agree it is difficult to work under Indian who is slave of American boss, but it is not easy with Americans either.

If Anna somehow gets this Lokpal bill passed, i feel in 5 years time, india will have some system and if that system delivers little bit, people will be happy. Somehow if India politicians get simple things like, keep good air, maintain greenery, control population, healthcare, police should stay within means, and system should have alteast some accountability instead of full compromise on every and everything on earth, even 10% improvement will be good.

We have IPC. It has not prevented the crime.

We have laws, judiciary and Jail. Yet they are no deterrant to crimes.

So more than bills and laws, we need societal and attitudinal change.

The guts shown by China by openly describing the problems in US is amazing. I hardly have met any Desi who speaks this truth when visiting India or otherwise. It is only praise that comes out openly which is a shame.

Whenever in the future the rest of the world acknowledges the end of American dominance China would be regarded as the country who was bold enough to challenge US and standup for the rest of the world.

Unfortunately, all this is because the US made comments on Tibet. China's attitude regarding Tibet is appalling, and their standing up to America is really a more dangerous sign than a show of bravery or any such thing!

There are sufficiently many Human Rights activist groups in the US calling its bad behavior world wide. What could you expect from China in that way? Not only will they deny anything about human rights atrocities in their land, they won't even have anyone else talking about it.

When India lost 1962 war against china, when india lost war against china in tackling proxy war through pakistan, when china controls major rivers following through tibet into india and when chinese goods hit indian market, then you will see the true face of your bold china.India is appeasing china by giving his trade benefits and accepting Tibet as part of china and controlling antichinese protests.PAKISTAN AND CHINA ARE REAL THREAT FOR INDIA NOT USA.if USA is worst then china then see the picture, chinese protestors in front of white house but you cant see a single protest picture in front of tiannamen square in beijing.

USA MASTERS OF DOUBLE STANDARDS
by jwalakanth on Apr 11, 2011 04:37 PM  | Hide replies

American government always maintains double standards, one side they say "war on terrisom", and on other side they fund the pakistan. They talk according to their political, sratergical, economical interest only.
All the world know, about biggest lie american government shown while invading iraq about WMD, but they didnt find a even a single pin head of nuclear material. They want to destabilize the nations and regions, and want to paly a big brother role.

Let people of all nations, dont trust such a nation of having double standards.

Jk

Asian countries like china and india should not say anything about human rights. Indias commitment to human rights became clear with support of Qadafi.

Yes certainly...if you have the guts to stand against corrupt politicians. There are examples like T.N Seshan, Kiran Bedi and now Anna Hazare who have stood up now.

Had it been China these people would have been executed on the basis of some flimsy charges by now.

Not at all...whatever you have mentioned it is always the case with dictatorial countries.

BTW, I am not a fan of the US either but the bad side of US does not take your life but the bad side of China certainly does.
