Vote on;y CPM or Tinamul congress
by satyananda rao on Apr 11, 2011 11:00 AM  | Hide replies

I request Bengalies to defeat all congress candidates to save west bengal from disintegration perticularlarly in light of goorkha land issue.

ONLY CPM or Tinamul congress will enhance bengali pride. In case of of telangana issue, both Mamtha and CPM have exhibited their sincere opposition to further division of linguistic states. Both parties are honest, sincere and known for taking issues of common man.
I request all bengalies and also telugus/orias/muslims to defeat BJP and congress and vote only either CPM or Tinamul congress

If you not believe by statement then go by own for some days as a tour in Gujrat village and town and see the progress by your own eye not only Hindus but also Muslims also become rich there with in 10 years of Modi's rule. Great leader BJP has produced that is Narendra Modi. Many many pranam apko, satha bar pranam Modi ji ko.

But then if left loses decisively now in both kerala and WB, is there any chance for BJP to occupy the political vacuum and become the major opposition ?

People of WB have decided to go ahead with a "Horses for courses" mindset.

In Assembly election, Left must go. In next LS election, Cong must go.

question of which is bigger evil
by mohan on Apr 11, 2011 03:04 AM  | Hide replies

choice is clear.

which is bigger evil ?

Dynasty politiics OR Capitalist commies
Antonia, Raul, Bianca and their slave dogs OR Others.

Lesser evil should win. Commies should thump down Netaji's backstabbers.

You have no idea what shambles the stae of west bengal is in.

In these 35 years they have gone down to being the 18th best state.

The rank speaks for itself.

The oppisition definitely deserves a chance, and am sure it cannot get worse than this.

The communists in Bengal called Netaji "TOJOR KUKUR" (A DOG OF GENERAL TOJO OF THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE ARMY). In the last over the three decades, from medical edcation to treatment, industrial belts of Barrackpore and Durgapur, work culture, literary movement, municipal servics, corruption, etc all adversely affected. And uprise has been observed in political interventions in personal lives (salishi sabhas in place courts), lines like Amitava Lala (High Court Justice - who really left for Allahabad) Bangla Chhere Pala (so said the great Biman Bose through his hose pipe), amrai court (we are the courts), murders of thousands, etc. There have been so many instances of conempt of court in the state of WB since 1977 that the total of such cases in the rest of India since independence is lesser! The least said about the communists is the better than any thing at times.

NO. But the people of WB do. And they are on a mission this tie to throw the LF into the Bay of Bengal.

Tough on die-hard cadres and comrades. But they still have time to look for a better alternative outside WB I think.

Nothing great if Left looses in WB
by Ram Sharma on Apr 10, 2011 10:27 PM  | Hide replies

There is nothing great if Left looses in WB, as it is already ruling for a record 35 years. There is no other example of a state govt having such a record as people always want change due to disatisfaction with running govt, which is natural. In Kerala Left rules every alternate 5 years. However if Left wins in WB, it will b still another record.

Moreover Left parties r the most honest in the country, which was seen in 2008 MP horse trading on large scale (it was a blot on our so called democracy), witnessed during 2008 nuclear bill passing.

Chances of Left winning in WB is less than 1% this time. Their leaders also accepted this already.
