I knew Amitda in the Presidency College. I feel sorry for him that he is going to be used by Mamata Banu, as she has used Nitish Sengupta, Dipak Ghosh ( both retired IAS officer joined her party became MPs and then kicked out) and many others.
She is a thugish woman of no civilization. Her companions are all thugs ( like Madan Mitra), thieves ( like Mukul Roy), or just killers( like Subrata Mukherjee).
There is no civilized people in Mamata Banu's party. Amit Mitra made a serious mistake to join her.
Mamta is so dictatorial that once all are elected and if they form the govt , she will be like high command , nobody can sneeze without her permission, same as our spineless congress party ( in India we call them chhakas)
Mitra saab, before plunging into politics with TMC, you should better have enquired about Kabir Suman's fate. Ambition & aspiration are understandable, but will you be able to take orders from didi's goons & will you be comfortable with that eccentric semi literate dictatorial lady. Anyway, it's your choice, good luck.

Does it take away the fact that Congress is the most corrupt party in India? And is it also not a fact that TMC has been supporting them in the Centre without a single word of condemnation against all their corrupt activities?
CPM is one of the best political party in india which is not corrupt. Leaders of congress( INC) and Trinamool congress one and same, there is no difference. It is better to have good leaders then of corrupt. in the last 34 years not a single case of corruption has been lodged agst. CPM LEADERS which a remarkable and praisble feet. Bengalis are lucky for this as there peace of mind is not disturbed. DONOT VOTE FOR CORRUPT LEADERS WHO HAVE TAKEN AWAY AAM ADMI MONEY TO SWISS BANK . THROW THESE CORRUPT IN THE BAY OF BENGAL SEA.
