One wishes they had postponed their decision by 3 weeks so that it created no law and order scare for the CWG games that would have been hopefully under way by then.

Boss that is the big reason for the delay in the decision. If something goes wrong after it... the CWG would either be postponed or cancelled. And the Central govt. as well as State govt would get a good excuse in front of all other participating countries.

Dear JGN, you are correct. and see what he made a flourishing economy, only to be handing over to Extrmeist who are neither bothered about economy nor development. they are now left to dwell in dust and sand in poverty and misery in name of fatwas every other day.
now coming back home, are we giving the country to extremists who gives diktats now and then in an independent country where we enjoy freedom of expression. Imagine what will be left behind?

OK. It is an issue since 1885 AD. i.e., 125 years. Still it may take some time, by the time somany twists,losses and political changes.
Hope in my grandsons time India Heralds its Nobleness on tradition and culture on different religions and beliefs and shows a correct way to the world.

Yes; that is the best solution. No doubt about that. Some time back the ShankaracharyaOfKanchi had made such a suggestion but that was not acceptable to the other side.
