isn't it a shame. your father. there is no historical proof. none of his followers maintained his temple or exact place of birth like buddha's follower's did. it speak volume how big was Ram. people just forgot him. till 6th century when a king started town called ayodhya based on guessing..

NewReligin, there is a logical inconsistency in your statement. Technically the father of "all of your ancestors" would be the very first man (more like Adam in Abrahamic religions). However that cannot be true, since Ram was the son of Dashrath, who descended from a long line of Suryavanshis. So Ram cannot be the first man. Of course, if you meant metaphorically then it is an entirely different matter. By the way your devotion to Ram is admirable. It takes a lot of effort to post so many messages with JayshreeRam.
