Disallow kashmir to be used by anti-India forces...

kashmir needs to be a secular protectorate that is protected like Bhutan lest it be used by anti-india FORCES.

for kashmir to be secular protectorate of india, the POK needs to be returned that seems quite difficult.

Who would like to solve a problem if you can get political mileage out of ig. Be it congress or BJP, every one does the same. The opposition party makes it their birth right to oppose any measure the govt takes. Kashmir will never get resolved,,.

Hello Hamara Congress
by Sekhar Rudra on Sep 20, 2010 10:46 PM  | Hide replies

I think , the root cause is Congress decisiveness for one of the major problem of India draging for 63 years. This is no doubt inflence by vote bank politics at the cost of national interest.
Fortunately India is economically more strong now to make a decision exactly the same way China had made a decision about Tibet uprising recently. God willing, Insallah when we learn to take a bold decision that encourage both community to leave in Peace like in rest of the states of the country. Both Congress and BJP should come together and make it happen now and provide all required support to the young Abdullah.

a sh*t created and not resolved in 55 yrs cannot be solved in 5 yrs, still a good foundation and some amount of peace was created in 5 yrs by BJP..if they had been for another 5-7 yrs, they would have largely resolved it..you will disagree as you are color blinded by the party which is root cause of ALL problems in the region..infact Narasimha Rao did 5 times better than any other dynastic clan members..

who wanted it to be disputed!!! The portuguese people knew angrezi plan to have Goa as the disputed area so india can fight over it with portugal, so they rushed out and did not want to an create turmoil. Did not want to create one more enemy.

But pakistanis felt into angrezi trap and bought all the weapons they could from angrezi block to keep the dispute alive.

Difference is, smart portugal people who did not fall into the trap.

Same sorts of stuff was kept for chinese to feed into, the disputed macmohan line, the disputed region.

Can anyone catch the monster who lit the fire and ran away. Pakistan still looks upto the monster for money and aid and weapons. Not to say that indian don`t have their begging plate ready as well.

kashmir needs to be a secular protectorate that is protected like Bhutan lest it be used by anti-india FORCES.

kashmir can be secular protectorate like Bhutan and POK region be returned (which won`t be easy ).

Kashmir can be made another Bhutan under indian protection with the status of secular protectorate of KASHMIR.

Thus, kashmir cannot be used by anti-india forces for TERRORISM, religious divide, etc.

We secure bhutan from outside and so can we do for kashmir.

Only condition, pakistan has to give back POK to the secular kashmir protectorate.

India should have done same for bangladesh if not for stupid Gandhi dynasty and idiots jinnah-mahatma that were responsible and agreed to angrez for pakistan creation. The gandhi dynasty also agreed to bangladesh and not making it something akin to bhutan protectorate.

both kashmir and bangladesh could be protectorate. Kashmir can pledge funds for their security and at the same time have india manage any tourist (instigators), foreign connections, etc in return for them having their state like bhutan.

Same would be for pakistan if gandhi-nehru-jinnah trio did not mess up and fall to angrezi plans for world control

Stone throwing Olympics
by sanjoy basu on Sep 20, 2010 10:18 PM

India should host stone throwing olympics. Kashmiris are good. But can they match Shiv Sena, MNS, RJD, Mayawati goons,CPI.? Definitely it will be a thrilling match. I think Kashmiris will do well in long distance throwing but Shiv Sena will win in close quarters.

You are writing this article without knowing the historical facts. The accession to India was conditional. Both the Kashmirs (under India & Pak) are disputed. The sooner India & Pak accept it the better. The sentiments can be suprresed but cannot be totally removed. It is a mass uprising and the solution will come only after carrying out unconditional dialogue.India is still harping on Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti as their trusted lieutenants in the valley. How long will they deceive the people of the valley.
The best course of action is to accept the reality and start unconditional dialogue.Kasmir is with India only on the basis of the military presence in J&K.

I think that you are twisting the fact,on purpose.
There was no condition attached,by Maharaja of Kashmir, while signing the Instrument of Accession. It was Pakistan, who invaded our territory and succeeded in occupying some Indian Territory. And that is the only disputed area,if there is any.

Majority Kashmiris want to be part of India. There is more to Kashmir than the valley. The problem is that POK is part of Pakistan. When POK becomes part of India the valley people will get a chance to unite and live peacefully in India.
