This guy goes around the country
by mira on Sep 14, 2010 10:30 PM  | Hide replies

He marches around the country - says he wants to meet students. Wants students to join politics to cleanse it. He is provided facilities in colleges to meet students. Questions are sponsored.

How can a politician go to colleges and invite them to participate in politics? If he were to do that, he should do it in public places and not in colleges. The colleges need to be sanitised days ahead and students are forced to miss classes.

What kind of a person is he? Totally insensitive to education

yes.. rahul seems undecided about his future.. he is even undecided to marry or not? god damn it.. how can he take decisions if he becomes PM. As someone pointed,he wants to take credit by being outside govt and avoiding opposition attacks and malicious campaigns...Let him first tour India as a politician and not as a 'gandhi kid' then he will know if he really has popular support. In AP, Jagan has popular support but still he cannot get job.. so how can Rahul get PM job.. its all feudal nehru clan.. But appreciate the fact that current PM Dr Singh has done a great job and doing it..

It is imperative for Rahul to sit in the opposition to prove himself.many good things are happenning at the instance of Rahul.May be Shifting of Vedanta,Upper hand of Jairam ,Head roll of Kalmadi,Stiff opposition to sharad pawars politics etc .Rahul may come at loggerheads with Congress eventually .It will be Congress Vs Youth congress.Congrss drives Rahul out,he starts his own party.sits in opposition and then rises like a sun.!he is a simpleton but good governance requires honesty and simplicity. Not intelligence as much.

Rahul has not debated in Parliament on National issues and International are far from him. His vision is only in his consituency and very narrow at present. Judge him in Parliament first.

We would have to appreciate the publicity planners of rahul gandhi, they are trying hard to build a positive image out of nothing.

Just by going around India sight seeing doesnt make you responsible. And the talk anout no other young politician doing it...thats crap. No other young politician is jobless with all the time in the world for the publicity stunts, everyone has to work for themselves except rahul gandhi. The congress is thumping a worthless candidate onto the people as their future PM and no amount of image makeovers can cover this up. A leader needs to be more than a cute looking guy with dimples. This guy is just clueless, all he does is waste public money for his All India Sight seeing tour ( oh yeah...wasnt he supposed to be on an austerity drive and travel by train)

Congress: Is independent or State dependent?
by ashwin kambli on Sep 14, 2010 09:54 PM  | Hide replies

Congress seems to State dependent party in India.
How can it be National Party.
Reason
a) Not single Big state Congress is elected Independently
Maharashtra - NCP
Gujarat - solely BJP
Madhya pradesh - BJP
Utter Pradesh - BSP
Kolkata - No Congress(I)
Kashmir - coalition
Karnataka - BJP
Andhra - Pradesh - coalition
Tamil Nadu - coalition
Kerala - JD
Bihar - BJP
Jharkhand - BJP
Chattisgarh - coalition
goa - coalition
No party is National Party in India except all Regional parties are ruling regional state.

In Jharkhand, BJP is ruling with the support of JMM and other parties, in Bihar it is JD(U) and BJP and in Chattisgarh, it is pure BJP Government.
