In summers there is water shortage, during monsoon we have exccess water and it is an unending cycle. why can't govt. take steps to conserve water during monsoon for use during rest of the year. Water harvesting, river linking, network of canals can be the answer.All our rivers are silted and need dredging to hold more water. Water is the most precious commodity and we are just wasting it. High time steps are taken to conserve water.
