BoYCOTT CWG Delhites
by Rajesh Jain on Sep 06, 2010 09:36 PM  | Hide replies

I appeal all the Delhi citizens to boycott and extend full non-co-operation to the Delhi Govt. so that these Common Wealth Games are not allowed to take place. I hope all my felllow country man will endorse my views. Why CWG, just to remind that we were a country ruled by Angrez? Shame on us.

You know I do honestly agree with what Badminton star Sania said, and I respect her for guts to come on national TV and speak her mind out. Yes it's true many didn't like what she said. But at the end of the day all those who disagreed with her would have said to themselves as they lay their head on their soft pillows, "Sania, you were right."

State Government has taken a decision to buy electronic mosquito bats for free distribution in Delhi and to CWG delegates so that all can use the bats and kill the mosquitos as a measure of medical caution. The CWG OC has been authorised to buy these material on extra-urgent basis subject to CAG not having any control or audit of the matter. MMS has already cleared the file.

Dengu fever-remedies
by Rajaram on Sep 06, 2010 12:55 PM

The present day mosquto repellents( like coil, mat, solutions) are not effective. Camphor is very good to keep the mosquitoes away. Place two numbers of camphor pellets in the space provided in the eletrical mat and see the result.
For people afflicated with dengu fever, raw pappaya leaves juice brings down the fever and increases the platele count. The pappaya leaves after through washing should be pounded and the juice taken out. one teaspoon two times will do wonders. This can be continued until the platelet count stabilizes.

Forget CWG
by avinash kishore on Sep 06, 2010 12:01 PM  | Hide replies

Forget CWG for the time being. The bigger question that we need to ask right now, as citizens is; what exactly is the Govt doing. And by Govt I mean the Congress.

They are at the center, at state and even the CWG OC. Ever since the news of the CWG scam broke out, everyone is busy blaming someone else for the mess, while the citizen of Delhi continues to live in misery.

Non of the Congress representatives have been able to come forward with a solution.

Dengue
by arungopal agarwal on Sep 06, 2010 10:45 AM

In a country, where discipline lacks everywhere in public life, and no one is responsible and accountable, only excuses remain, any thing may happen.
Actually, all Govt. servants are to be retired on army pattern, where even a Lt. Col. retires at 50.
