The Outcome of Encounter
by Balan Iyer on Sep 04, 2010 06:59 PM

After the brief encounter, eight cops were dead
and four taken hostages with no casualities on
the part of Maoists. This is the typical story of dumb cops who have lost the strength and will power to fight. The top Police Personnel
seem to be insensitive to the quality of the cops down the line or the rot has spread throught from top to bottom.
Not withstanding the above facts,my heart felt
sympathies to the captured cops and the near and dear ones of the dead cop.

Whos' watching TV
by Bodh Ramdeo on Sep 03, 2010 09:58 PM  | Hide replies

That the Maoists can just walk into any police station and abduct its personnel speak volumes of the rampant incompetence, ineptitude and total lack of professionalism everyone has come to expect.
It also says a lot about its administration or lack thereof. It also displays the total lack of any intelligence apparatus- neither at the sate nor federal level.

Main concern of Policemen is

1. to wag tail on nearest sighting of a Polician, AND
2. show arrogance on nearest sighting of a common man.

So - recruitment too is based on caste quota lines. Merit is scoffed at.

Not just Naxals, Pak, China, Bangladesh - all will take advantage of this lovely situation.

Jai Ho.

the paki handlers of 26/11 took advantage of the live footage on tv channels. govt MUST have some kind of restriction on the channels. democracy is ok. but the channels must not be allowed to include such people in their discussion panels who are anti india and openly air their anti india venom for millions of people to watch! i saw a lot of misled kashmiri youth, encouraged by our own Burqa Du(s)tt, puking their rotten anti india thoughts on ndtv. i mean what is this, eh??? how dare ndtv show such anti india poison on their channel??? and that too under the garb of fair(???) discussion on kashmir???
Viva India! God Bless India!

Exposing police
by Krishnakumar Narayanan on Sep 03, 2010 04:05 PM  | Hide replies

Recently, a leading daily in Mumbai published front page story with pictures on Mumbai Police cops making patrol in the city in disguise. They clearly shown some policemen in plainclothes. I can't understand for whom this article will be useful. Media, at times, is merely exposing security agencies' plans unnecessarily. Police must refrain from briefing media on their plans in advance.

problematic media
by kishore tendolkar on Sep 03, 2010 04:00 PM

continuous telecasting of relatives of cops crying , appealing to govt to accept maoist demand can prove dangerous. We should learn from recent case where one govt employee from Maharashtra went to Assam & abducted by BODO activists & kept him in their custody for over 2 1/2 months; during this period there were hectic effort from maharashtra as well as assam govt for releasing this person but media was kept away. His family also played imp role by strongly refusing to give any interview to any TV corrospondent. Just 3 weeks back this perosn was released after successful negotiations with bodo militant; Just a week back news came as the militant responsible for abducting this man was killed by police. the overreactive media can prove dangerous for lives of 3 bihar police.

just remember Nariman house operation in nov 2008 mumbai where air dropping of comandos was shown live on all news chanels ; everyone including terrorists saw it & finally our commando got killed.

Negociation with any militant should be silent , media has no role to play.

Rajdeep Sardesai IBN CNN acting as mole of Maoists!
by naresh sehgal on Sep 03, 2010 04:00 PM

n the past Rajdeep Sardesai /CNN IBN committed the unpardonable crime of showing 24 hours on TV weeping relatives of the hijacked to Kandhar plane demanding for NEGOTIATIONS with the terrorists for release of passengers with his TWISTED TRUTHS/LIES.
His this SERIOUS crime has gone unpunished.
During post Godhra Gujrat mass frenzy spitting venom of religious hatred Rajdeep tried his best to incite Muslims .
Enthused with this success now Rajdeep(HIDING) VOICE of ultra COMMIES (Naxalites )/Jehadis criminals ,is indulging with his TWISTED truths /LIES and giving platform to supporters of enemies of nation like PUCL etc allowing them to spit venom /hate against the democracy and weak ,power less commoners like lower middle class police personnels .
Today this shameless blood thirsty liar showing part statement of Nitish Kumar tried to give False impression as if Nitish was rebuking family members of kidnapped police men.On the other side Rajdeep let loose the PUCL monster telling dam lies about her fellow Maoist criminal AZAD!
I would like to take up this BIASED pro Maoist /anti commoner ,anti weak agent to court for suitable punishment for his HIDDEN crimes1
Is any body there to help me?

Engage Vijayakumar and Fonseka
by navinkumar nandakumar on Sep 03, 2010 03:55 PM  | Hide replies

Request K Vijayakumar, IPS, to train Bihar cadre police (he along with his mentor Walter Dawaram curbed naxals in TN and captured/killed Veerappan). Call up former SL Army Chief Sarath Fonseka as consultant for the CRPF to engage and eliminate the Maoist hoodlums (who are increasingly showing signs of going down the road to hell Pirabhakaran traveled). Our Army has its hands full.

Any human rights animal is there to criticize the act of maoists ???

I'm sorry for animals that i compared the human rights activists with them.

If some policemen get mad and kill all those 6-8 maoist leaders these human right animals will be first to protest against the killing
