We look forward to an early resolution to the (boundary) issue
by panda1969@rediffmail.com on Oct 29, 2010 04:37 PM  | Hide replies

In spite of being a chinese,I think that the more early the resolution of the boundary issue comes out,the more conducive to India's national interests.

But It is very difficult.Because china demands at least Tawang region in the east sector.
The difficulties dont lay on Tawang itself(Even in 1940s,British India suggested a border line across Sela pass or Dirang),but India's sensitivity of territory.

Any compromise in border issue will bring political attacks and lead a end to the maker's career.Even if Indian statemen and diplomats know it is acceptale,They may do nothing.Instead Chinese policy makers face less pressures from public, but in future,They will also face the situation which Indian countparter face now.So ...

We in India also wish for good relations with China and pray that our border dispute problem will be resolved ultimately to our both nations satisfaction. Someone said that just as India and China were two of the most powerful economic and cultural nations some 600-800 years back (for abt 300 years and odd), the same could well be replicated in coming years. What we are seeing of both growing is a pointer of things to come. Also, a seer had predicted that both will finally come closer and become good partners for growth.

I personally admire your WEN JIABAO, he is a fine man, erudite, intelligent, sober, forward thinking and above all, gentle...he is a fine leader and u Chinese ought to be proud of him. He is doing a lot for India-China friendship,

JK Visas
by praful pawar on Oct 29, 2010 04:04 PM  | Hide replies

When Mr. Sing asked why this stapled JK visas,
Mr. Wibiao told him:

Simple!Just as J & K is stapled to India, so Visas are also stapled one. Arunachal Pradesh is pinned to India , so Visas from Arunachal will be pinned one. There is some rational and logic in all we chineese do.

Any Shakk on this, Dr. Singh.

India's and China's PMs.......
by Dattaprasad Prabhu on Oct 29, 2010 04:00 PM

These file photographs appear to be old and from the last ASEAN(2008).Immediately after that news of the suspecious downing of an Indian Air force AAWACS near advanced landing field somewhere in Arunachal Pradesh, cropped up. This was followed by the controvertial dam forming activities on the river Brahmhaputra in China--- thanks to google earth footage. This was still followed by deployment of two squadrons of long range (200kMts) anti-aircraft missile batteries on the Sino-Indian border near Tawang. India must watch the "progress" after this ASEAN-2010 meet in Hanoi.

Indians are brainwashed to believe that (voting in elections == democracy) and a solution to all problems.
China is happy without India's dummy democracy and casteism.

Boundary Issue
by Balan Iyer on Oct 29, 2010 02:32 PM

National Security Adviser says "We look forward
to an early resolution of the boundary issue".
So sad that we have never bothered to solve the
Sino-Indian boundary issue even after 63 years
after achieving Independence from the Brits.
Though Mr Menon is not responsible for goofs
and blunders of the earlier Govts, his statement
should be at least carefully worded.

by Indian on Oct 29, 2010 02:10 PM  | Hide replies

This is cold war..India has to forced china double speak. Stop all bilateral relation and build armed forces along border, acquired military stuff for conventional war, get intelligent strategic people committee against china policy, keep a hawk eye on china advances, have the counter attack ready, oppose china move on every international forum, protect own border to get away some crackers from porki, make to corruption as punishing as it can be, shoot all those mafia people who are working for porki, and revive politics here in india to get good governing people
- forced china about talking Arunachal
- no loose talk like coward
- shake hand with confidence
- protest and force to talk on pending issue
etc etc
