How its allowed ? One side, we cant buy land in J&K and if we sell land in Tea growing areas, we can not repurchase ( what I heard in my child hood ); its really shocking to know foreigners buying Goa land ?
This is completely laughable... what does Rediff mean by saying this chap "discovered" the beach for the rest of the world. Did the locals not know about this place already, that it had to be "discovered" by some white hippie? This chap may have just spread the word about the beach and a bunch of other hippie idiots joined him there, that's it. When are you Indian journalists going to get rid of your slave mentality? Wake up, and throw off your mental shackles guys...

Discovery is only left for non-natives, especially of caucasian origins. Beaches are virgin until exploited, now Anjuna beach is free for all, unless there is a fee for sun-bathers and swimmers.
