Bokari should first be a muslim in true spirit before laying claim to represent muslim. First thing he should do is to give up the post of Imam of Jama masjid because he has occupied this place by virtue of being his heir.Succession on the basis of heirachy is not permitted. It is on the basis of Taqwa. This is the reason no where in the world Imam is appointed like this.
He should stop calling himself Shahi Imam. Even the Imam of Khana-e-Kaba or Masjid-e- Nabvi & Masjid-e- Aqsa the three holiest places for all muslims are known as "Imam" and not Shahi Imam or by any other name.He calls himself Shahai Imam to give an impression to our Hindu brotherns that his stature is above the rest of Imam which is not correct.
Does he deserve to be an imam? Answer is no. An Imam is suppose to practice & demonstrate the way Prophet Mohammad has shown to us. Prophet Muhammad & the 4 Caliphs, the Imam and great spiritual personalities have never treated their worst enemy the way Bokahri behaved with the jouranalist in Lukhnow.
My sincere appeal to all media person is not to give coverage to Bokari & Syed Shahabuddin as they are not the voice of Muslims.
I to the best of my ability am a practicing muslim and I find that 99.9% muslims want that verdict on Ayodhya issue should be respected and the opportunity should be used to recover the lost ground that the babri masjid issue had created
