If he is honest and simple and steadfast in his principle, why not he understand that in 1947-48, the separation took place and many pakistani hindus, and indian muslims have chosen their sides,and the rest stayed back by choice or force.

It is really hard to imagine that he is not corrupt; on the contrary there are many hawala transactions that are traced to him from Pakistan to fund anti-India activity.
