Ricin can be fatal if it is inhaled, ingested, or injected. While skin or eye contact with ricin can cause pain, it is typically not fatal with that type of exposure.
The initial symptoms of ricin sickness, which may appear anywhere from three to 12 hours from the time of exposure, include coughing, fever and stomach pains.
If ingested, main symptoms within the first hours are stomach ache, gastroenteritis, bloody diarrhea and vomiting. Over the course of the first days after exposure, the victim may experience symptoms of dehydration and low blood pressure, stroke and death.
Ricin inhalation can manifest as lung damage, including pulmonary edema (fluid in and swelling of the lungs).
Other possible symptoms include seizures and problems with the central nervous system and nervous collapse.
If the exposure is fatal, the victim most likely will die within three days. There is no known antidote for ricin poisoning.
Ricin should have been adminstered to those paki terrorists who were escorted by the effiminate Jaswant Singh to Kandahar.

Yah true - but why does he have to carry AK47 and bombs. They don;t make very nice gifts you know. Especially if you want to demonstrate the gifts on the people you are giving it to.

There is nothing stopping India using No-State actors who could cross the border to annihalate these soowers. Then tell pak that these are nonstate actors about which India cannot do anything.

Kashmir at a price of disseminated Pakistan. How stupid can it get? At hindsight, this strategy of successive Governments of Pakistan has been the greatest gift to India, its nemesis.
Pakistan is pariah state today. The USA and the west have indicated numerous times that Pakistan is perceived as the root of the problem. Phases may have been created to satisfy and placate the masses. But, the writing on the wall is clear.
USA and NATO might have given themselves the deadline of withdrawal from Afghanistan by 2011. But, we must not overlook the fact that this is a self given deadline and can always be revised. For Pakistan is the problem. Afghanistan is incidental. No one is immune to the disease Pakistan. China too knows this.
