Mr. Sankaran was a very honest and moral individual and officer. He was a gret thinker yet very humble man. He was the Gandhian. He has done great service to people and he will be surely missed. May his soul rest in peace.
Let's continue to remember his message - Tribals and Dalits are our countrymen and we shouldn't fight and kill each other rather fight the common enemy - poverty and apathy.
Mr.Sankaran was known for his sympathy to the tribal people and had a clear idea of how the tribals could be brainwashed by Naxalites.It should be said to his credit that his abduction did not cloud his judgement or hamper his peace efforts.

S R Sankaran is really an inspiring human being. He is a true indian. He is the next person in the list of people like Arabindo, Gandhi, Vivekananda and Jiddu krishna murthy. We should feel proud to have such a dedicating person in our country. I wish Indian govt should incluse Sanakaran Life story as a lesson in all Text books.
