If u have public life, some-day, some-where u got to be trapped for any silly reasons, and u r criminal !!! That is the definition of criminal. Advani/Modi/Mahajan/patel/thakre...who is not criminal today?
Talibans can never be civilized. They must be killed. Our politicians will never stop looting the nation. Unless they too are killed. For this to happen, not reforms but revolution is the need.
Note: For starters, Tihar is the most renowned guesthouse with most illustrious inmates (I mean, it's the most renowned jail with most hardened criminals engaging in illustrious acts eg blinding each other.)

Rename it and put all the Laloos and Paswans along with the SadhuYadavs and co into it for life long. Later they can be hung upside down withoutClothes.
India is a democracy that came after one thousand years of brutal & covert foreign colonial rule. Of course it takes a little time before peoples' mind is settled on the reality.
For a political party, in a democracy, the primary objective is winning the seat. And so of course they are going to select a winnable.It is the voters duty to check the background of a candidate before voting. The system and government becomes responsible if an elected member is given an above the law treatment.

The media has been playing the most evil role in the whole game. First they misinform the voters so a wrong person gets elected. Once elected, the media extorts favors from them to keep them in power by still giving misinformation to the world.
