Pakistan is a country founded on hatred, divisiveness and feelings of competitiveness and superiority. Not on nobler ideals.
A nation founded on hate cannot be protected even with a trillion dollars!
Pakistan has no inherent strengths. First they wanted a separate country on the pain of being a separate religion hence claimed that they constituted a separate state. Only to end up alienating the Bangali speaking country men who they thought were not equals. When that was finished off they started hating the Baluchis, the Gilgitstanis, the Sindhis and now the NWFP. Any alienation in Pakistan is a blood bath. The state in which Pakistan now is, they won't need enemies outside, they have enough inside.
Why should Indians worry? Just as individual descretions are punished individually, collective discretions get punished collectively. That is the law of nature.
Look closely at the pictures, you will notice a heavy brown coating on the mouths. It is US $ Chines exports under the table...you know what it is.
Mujhadeen used the American arms left behind after the Soviet withdrawal against the opposition groups of Afghan NW Army---American and Indian supporters. These same arms will be slipped to Osama then to POK terrorists....

Good. This way the Americans can leave us alone.We loathe and despise them. They are a kiss of death. This is why despite pressures we have not accepted the Kerry-Lugar Bill aid.
We shouldn't open the Torkahm Border for NATO goods and we should close the Chaman border for NATO goods also.
They can keep their aid and out it in a place where the sun doesn't shine.

Fazal, even if you loathe and despise the Americans, you cannot assert your national will until you have economic and military muscle. Some Pakistani strategists believe that by keeping the US and Nato bogged down, they can milk the west. Also ,given the 80 or so nuclear warheads, the west can't really allow Pakistan to become a failed state and have the weapons fall in rogue hands. This strategy is not a long term strategy. Qaide-e-Azam Jinah wanted a secular state fashioned on the lines of the English model. BUt Pakistan has even failed its creator.Pakistan has reaped a lot of benefits from its strategic location. The Chinese see in Pakistan a way to reach the Persian gulf and also as a bulwark against India. That is the reason why Pakistan has surrendered parts of Kashmir to China.I have met so many Pakistanis in the west who cry at the state Pakistan is in.Look at where India is despite its gazillion problems. Don't you think if Pakistan embraced a modernist agenda, it can do better, not only for itself but also for the Muslim world at large.Jinah must be turning in his grave at what his descendents have done to Pakistan.Think about it, Pakistan is falling behind every day,that it has to spend resources to wage wars.I am always amazed,the Pakistani army has its elite generals all trained in the west (US/UK), that are socially liberal, yet they feed the fundamentalist beast all to kep India on its toes. And to Fazal, who told you that Pak has not accepted Kerry-Lugar Bill aid. The military made some public noise to malign the civilian Pak govt in the eyes of the common man of Pak but eventually accepted aid. In fact they make a noise about everything incld aid from India but finally accept everything.

Fazal Curmally-Paki beggars cant be choosers! Where would Pak be without American aid and the alms that the other countries including India, provided for the flood victims! The non-resident Pakis did not send a pie fearing that Mr. Ten Percent and his cronies would pilfer the aid too. Pakistan is like a heaven for every terroist. Money is flowing from everywhere from Middle east, West (US an UK) and also from Afghanistan and from drugs, opium smuggling the list will go on and on. It is really a heaven. What India needs to claim all of the Pakistan upto Afghan border.

I believe US is making its arms industry grow fast by selling arms to pakisthan first to create an imbalnce, India buying again to go ahead of Pakisthan, then Pakisthan buying again to have an edge over India. This cycle neither helps India nor pakisthan but definiytely USA. So definitely USA backstabbing India

@gautam maitra: not only does USA accomplish its goal of growing its defense industry but also ensure that the military equipments are well utilized. Take example of Enfield motor cycle, which is heavy and needs to be running in order to be functioning. If u buy and keep in garage it's no good after some time. Same thing here with US defense

You are talking of India producing an equivalent or superior machine to F16. You are day dreaming my frined. The Light Combat Aircraft was launched more than 20 or 25 years ago. It is not operational even today.
First get all those useless mafia politicians (netas) into the Auschwitz concentration camps.
Dont depend on the congress party. It belongs to the family of traitors (nehru and indira). Rajiv Gandhi tried to do good things but failed as he could not control the mafia in the congress.
During the 40 years of congress administration we never had free ways in the country.

It's not the politicians who make, ofcourse they mar the country. It's the great scientists, technocrats not the bureaucrats. How did India successfully test nuclear, did India not send men to space, india did launch satellites to moon and many more. There is great potential however the politicians and bureaucrats mar the whole process.

Rafique - U R correct. But the so-called talent is leaving the country and settling in the US. Moreover, the excess reservations are also forcing people to leave India, who are willing to make a strong contribution.
Remember, how Dr. Abdul Kalam was not allowed a position at IISc on the pretext that he does not have a PhD. Does Dr. Kalam have to prove his credentials? This is how things are working out in India. Pathetic...Hopeless...
Funding is less as Govt. is forgiving farmers loans - not for their benefit, but for vote-bank. Where is the money for R&D? Mukesh Ambanis and Vijay Mallyas are all for IPL, but they will not try to donate money for retaining talent.
Where does the question of India becoming a superpower come in? Nowhere...
We have signed the N-Deal with US, and now our Nuclear Scientists are crying out that the H-Bomb at Pokhran - II wa s a failure. If it were true, then immediately, another test should have been carried out successfully. Now, after the N-Deal has been signed, our scientists were stressing the need for another nuclear test. All the aid including the nuclear fuel would have been cut to India. This is how we think...after 60 years of Independence.
pakistan is in such dire position and still manages to fool usa over and over again. in stark contrast, india's position is so handsome and yet congressi govt fails over and over.

Pak is an international pariah! They are akin to beggars to whom people throw a few coins now & then to get rid of the nuisance! Have you seen how Pakis get treated at international airports?
India should support the freedom struggle of Sindh and Balochistan. Pakistan is a failed state.Why should Sindh and Balochistan stay with Porkistan.The seperation of these to states will finish Pakistan and solve the problem of USA as well as India.

Pakistan is not fooling US. US knows everything. But, US knows that it needs Pakistan since it is one of the prominent Islamic nations in Asia. US needs Pakistan...like a necessary evil.
