CBN shd be back to rule
by Ramesh on Nov 29, 2010 10:33 PM  | Hide replies

Look at the past.. CBN brought development and made AP one of the best in IT investments. YSR came and started lootign the state. He ate 1 lakh crores and that money is the reason why Jagan is so careless abt anything. Out of all governments AP witnessed, TDP govt is the best. People shd bring back TDP to power for any real development. by the way, YSR started 'Jala yagnam' with one lakh crore budget and not even one project is near to the completion. Some of the projects were built with mud and washed away with rains. When ever Cong rules the state, gates for corruption are open and all can eat by giving share to CM.

Budget of AP was around 4K crores in ~94.
CBN came up with the great idea of borrowing money and taking up projects. The idea was simple, the more the works you take up, the more money you make.
YSR followed the same mantra. When loans dried up, the govt started selling land. The last three budgets for AP are around 1L crore.

WHAT AN IDEA SIR JI?

Definitely not YSR! In fact ChandraBabu Naidu tried to impose fiscal discipline and raise power tariffs while YSR went all out with populist schemes. Accepted that YSR was a charismatic leader and gave sops to the poorest sections of society but he was lining his own family nest while doing so! How coem Jagan filed tax of 84 crores showing a PERSONAL INCOME higher than Ratan Tata or Kumarmangalam Birla or Mukesh Ambani?? Blind hero worship of the dead YSR will lead nowhere! Dont blindly bring in religion & caste into the argument. AP is one of the most casteist socities in India and I absolutely despise it for that.

let me tell you, CBN and YSR are two worst things happened to AP, rather than real development all their policies revolve around deceit, appeasement, corruption, real estate. they ruined the state which has a great potential to become rich. rather than a few people and politicians became rich and still the farmers are committing suicides.

a mob of infuriated youngsters ransacked the district Congress office in Kadapa, Janganmohan's Lok Sabha constituency, destroyed the furniture and office property and burnt the posters and flags of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.

In Tirupati, supporters of Jaganmohan locked the Congress office and held a demonstration in which Sonia Gandhi's effigies were burnt. Similar protests were witnessed in Anantapur, East Godavari, Visakhapatanam and Guntur districts

Let dogs come out barking aginst YSR..
by venkat tvrr on Nov 29, 2010 10:14 PM  | Hide replies

Now, AP is no.3 in software exports and it happened during YSR regime. Earlier it was in 5th or 6th position.
Punjab and Haryana were developed long before IT entered India and its because of agriculture. YSR wanted Andhra to develop in Agriculture sector also.
YSR wanted all 3 regions should get equal share of investments. He tried his best to develop all the 3 regions.
What CBN did to chittoor his native district?
Nothing? He just established his Heritage company.
What CBN did to Nellore or any other districts for that matter?
Its becoz of YSR we see development in Nellore district. What CBN did to Nellore dist?
I challenge rediff community to name a person who has the capacity to bring back any national party to power.

YSR was no saint! Where did all the money to the family come from? Who partnered the Bellary Reddys? In the first six months of the current financial year, Jagan Reddy has already paid Rs 84 crore as advance tax, anticipating his annual income to be in the vicinity of Rs 500 crore or much more. His earnings can put to shame corporate biggies like the Tatas, Birlas or Ambanis. So is Jagan's personal income more tahn say a Birla or an Ambani? Jagan Mohan had paid a paltry Rs 2.92 lakh tax for the financial year 2008-09, and Rs 6.72 crore for 2009-10. His growth in the half-yearly tax outgo has been more than 1,100% as compared to what he had paid for the same period in 2009. So where did this fellow earn all this money? Obviously from the influence he peddled during the period when his father YSR was the CM!
Anybody worth 500crore white money and thousands of crores Balack money can be "COURAGEOUS"!

I say that AP need a strong leader now. Corruption is a different issue.
