Bihar's tryst with destiny
by Bodh Ramdeo on Nov 27, 2010 03:31 AM

The people have spoken.
Now it's Nitish's turn to make good on his promises of greater development and eradicating corruption by arresting and jailing corrupt babus and netas, and confiscating their houses and "converting them to schools" as he responded to a journalist's question just before the election.

exactly why EVMs could NOT be tampered.
by zxc on Nov 27, 2010 02:47 AM

bcoz local govt was non-cong.

so local-govt ensured that the ppl handling the EMs are honest.

but in central govt elections,
gandhi will assign the officers, to run the EVMs.
these ppl like navin-chawla will manipulate the software and hardware in the EVMs.
and win india again, for next 50 years.

Nitish-led NDA sweeps Bihar polls
by bkchatterjee on Nov 26, 2010 11:00 PM

Firstly CONGRATULATIONS to the matured electorate and MEDIA (print & electronic) which has brought in this maturity.
It is a pleasant surprise that the electorate has started to think for themselves to find out which side of the bread is buttered.
I wish all the PROGRESS & SUCCESS that BIHAR's people have dreamt of so long will come to fruition, slowly but steadily.

RIGHT OF REJECTION IN ELECTIONS.
by nitin gupta on Nov 26, 2010 06:13 PM

Hi All my INDIAN friends,

Dont you want to have people at the right place.

The best place to start with is the PUBLIC DEPARTMENT.

The election in Bengal is knocking at the door.

This topic is raised so many times. The YOUTH is changing now.

We are deprived of having "none of these " option when it comes to cast our vote .We sometimes need to select one of the same leader/MLA/councilors/minister who has disappointed us last time.

But in order to do that we need to fill a separate form , which might deter a common man to do that from the fear of getting highlighted.

Please come ahead and speak up in this forum who share the similar or dissimilar opinion.

I know one lady "KIRAN BEDI ,IPS officer" who once showed the courage to speak up in a TV show about same apprehension.

JAAGO INDIA JAAGO

Writing on the Wall
by vijayan balakrishnan on Nov 25, 2010 10:32 PM  | Hide replies

Shri Nitish Kumar has expectedly climbed the massive wave of development plank defying the feared anti-incumbency factor in the Bihar elections with his brawny performance. This election will be remembered for the rather eclipse of the political career of the Bihar’s crafty demagogue- Lallu Prasad Yadav- singlehandedly. Surprisingly, he has also decimated the Congress Party as well as quarantined it to a miserable four seats – the worst ever for the party there. Admittedly, the victory brings a much needed reprieve for the NDA at a time it was finding it difficult to contain the damage the Karnataka episode has caused to it even as it sought to wage an all-out battle against the all pervading national scams.
Indeed, the writing on the wall emanating from the harsh outcome of the Bihar polls is that the voters will no longer tolerate poor governance for ideology or caste combinations. The electorate wants competent and imaginative administrators, who can deliver development. More than ever before, the ruled want tangible results from the rulers. The aspirations of the people can be hardly ignored except at their own peril.
However, the results cannot be dubbed a pointer towards the ascend of emerging NDA or the decline of the fortunes of the directionless UPA.

this indian media is sold out to cpm goons and congress foreigners. cpm is looting WB and kerala with hand in gloves with congress since independence. But this media has no time and interest in showing truth to Indians. They are so interested in making it a breaking news even if soemone breaks a tree in gujrat for some one sleeping extra hours.

but media thinks we are fools.. if any media person reading this then he must knw thats nt the case.. we r nt leading this world in so many things jst like tht.. we can very well read mind of writer :P
