one question ...

... why did the builders refuse to build the statue according to the description of JESUS found in Revelation 1:14-15 (New International Version, 2010)
14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.

GOOD OR BAD
by Bineet Kumar on Nov 23, 2010 10:04 AM

I don't know how good or bad it is but it is representation of human engineering to aspire for more creativity. regarding the people of town surely it will be good earning point with regards to Tourism.

However religion things have there binding and expect other to obey them blindly. which is eqaully bad for and from every religion.

Regligion constraints human ability to think beyond the belived boundries. The death of Galelio is mark of it.

RELIGION HAS KILLED MORE HUMANS THAN ANY OF THE WAR.

Hope we realize this and work towards better future for our children on this earth.

Agree with you. A religious symbol/statue should evoke feelings of love and gentleness. This statue evokes 'power' - which is evil. No hard feelings meant for our xtian brothers/sisters.
