INNOCENT VOTEBANKS IN THE HANDS OF CLERGY WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN. THE DYNASTY WILL KEEP PEOPLE POOR THATS WHAT THEY ARE GOOD AT.
SOMEONE STANDING UP AND DOING THINGS AND PROVING THAT IT CAN BE DONE WILL MAKE IT LOOK SO BAD FOR THE DYNASTY.
manufacturing armaments is an industry and business. major powers need advanced armaments. the research, developement, capital cost to set up factories, material and process costs and the simulated and under the real war conditions costs in billions of dollars.
if some nation were to purchase a percentage of their annual output even at a susidised price, the cost per unit comes down.
USA sold at subsidy to Pakistan or gave free under the defense arrangements. and India had to raise it's capability and buy equally or more powerful one.
earlier the USA, UK. France, Russia (previously USSR) and few other west european countries were the major manufactureres and selling them. no wonder that, china has joined the club!
India can employ the 1000s of unemployed graduates, post graduates and diploma holders in sciences and technology and subsitute some of the items that are being procured. it will give fillip to metallurgical, mechanical, chemical, electronis and instrumentation industries and we can save precious foreign exchane also. and products are good we can compete with the major manufacturers also.
Its high time that India must enter into manufacturing of high class defence weopons. That should be an answer to these proliferations. We depend on Russia for our Defence requirements and it is limited . Now we have to think of manufacturing defence weopons to meet our DEfence needs. It'll be the right answer to this!
India’s first stealth fighter will fly for the first time in less than four months from now. It is called the Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft or FGFA being developed in Russia by Sukhoi.
The FGFA is designed to have a top speed of around Mach 2, or twice the speed of sound.
It has the ability to super cruise or operate at speeds beyond the speed of sound without engaging systems such as afterburners which consume huge amounts of fuel.
The fighter deal is a fillip to the air force and Sukhoi. The military will acquire 48 Su-35S fighter aircraft from 2010-15, along with 12 Su-27SMs and four Su-30M2s.
Delivery of the last two version of the Flanker should be completed by 2011.
The fighter which is being developed in Russia by Sukhoi is believed to a rival for the United States F-22 raptor.
The raptor is a multirole fighter with many top end avionics and fire power.
The FGFA is capable of locking and shooting ten targets at the same time which can also be done using the pilot’s helmet.
The fighter cross section is invisible to RADAR and the special coating paint on its body makes this fighter completely invisible to enemy
