No one from Gujarat looted Central Government money. The crooks of DMK looted. And they kept for themselves or gave it LTTE. Without Tamil support LTTE could not survive a single day. Gujarat with Modiji is prospering. Even though US id not giving him visa, money from US is flowing to Modiji's state.

Ambanis, and many other gujrati businessmen who greased DMK and Cong ministers' palms in the 2G scam. Whether industrialists or politicians swindle, it is still govt money. If Modi is so great, why is he struggling within BJP. It is people like Jayalalitha who are legitimising Modi. And lastly politicians from TN are no worse than other states. Other states should have overtaken TN completely- if two of the most corrupt states MH and TN are are at the top, it only means others are at least relatively no better.

and who give syou work man? it is the industry and it is the govt - whoever they are- which has allowed all mncs to open factories and other offices here.education is good, healthcare is good, infrastructure is getting better, and TN is the most urbanised state in India. by the way, is gujarat like singapore? so how come it si not the most urbanised state?

2 lakh people and at even a measly Rs. 250/- per plate, the food cost alone works out to Rs. 5 Crore. With cadres coming from all over south and their travel expenses, plus the huge pandal in the Tamukkam ground, the total expenses was not less tha Rs. 50 Crore. Is this what you call a simple wedding?

250 per plate, that is british way of calculations. This is tamil stuff and would be prepared in masses for masses. The costs would be very less.

And who said they used caterers? Maybe u are following british as you guys are used to for 50-60 years. That doesn't mean everyone is doing that.

Correction. Yes, they would have got kickbacks, like any previous ministers. But, I am contesting the amount that you have specified. That 1.7 lac crores is the LOSS to the exchequer. That is not the money they made.
If the licenses costed that much, no one would be there (including the tatas, birlas and ambainis) in the auction to bid the spectrum. FYI, Idea, Uninor and Aircel are contemplating merger as their revenues could not match the running costs. Imagine if they had paid the license fees that the CAG guys are pointing, they would not have even launched their services.
