You can find out what Jesus likes and what He wants from us (as well as what He did FOR us)by reading the New Testament, and it wouldn't be spending all that money building a huge statue of Him. Why else would they do this but to bring in money? Jesus wants our attention on HIM, not on a piece of rock. Better to have helped the poor and sick, like Jesus did.

dont admonsih here. you can love and serve the poor in your own unique way. but dont just vomit venom opposing the construction of this statue.

Hats off to that person who has built this statue of Jesus. This shows the love for Jesus...Poor people will always be there

Please appreciate the work of the statue builder...he must be happy at having created some thing large. Be happy. Man is building every day larger and bigger things...Burj Al Khalifa tallelst today tommorrow someone may build a higher tower...its a cycle of the present time. Earth will destroy all that is today and will rejuvinate all its resources for the life to start again with different masters...be nice
