But why are they building it when they are mocking at us as idol worshipers? They may say they are not worshiping it. But dont they feel reverence when they see the statue? Will they not bow to the spirit behind it. We also do the same - salute and worship the shakthi within and without it. nothing more nothing less. The fact is that no where a statue can be God - at the same time for most people they need some kind of image or location to connect with God.

Well this concept beats me how hanging someone else on cross save me from my sin ? For example can I murder someone and hang you instead to get absolved of sin ?
