Yes we have a Chief minister in India who was dismissed the moment it was known that he had grabbed land for Kargil war widows. But that is a different situation from the Pakistani situation.
And here these are the same Pakistani soldiers who came forward to kill soldiers of my country India by illegally crossing into my country and fight us by imposing on us an illegal war. They sacrificed their lives for the whims of their generals.
But after all they were proper soldiers wearing uniforms and licensed military weapons. Even if they were my enemies I am convinced that their sacrifice for their country should not have gone unrecognized. And after the war a Military General ran the country for close to a decade. There can be no excuses. The Pakistani soldiers died in vain for a false cause. In Pakistan it seems the blind lead the blind.
But it is a typical Pakistani thing to do. If you remember the first incursion in Kashmir in the late 40s early 50s. They too were labeled as "tribals" when in fact they were regular Pakistani soldiers without their uniforms.
There are Pakistani soldiers who have fought all wars against India but now settled in India yet it is the Indian Government that pays their pension not Pakistani Govt!

Now pak agrees 453 Pak soldiers died in that war. I am not sure, we will know how many "other" pakistanies died in that war. Whatever we call them. How many Indian soldiers died in Kargil war? Have they built a memorial for the soldiers died in Kargil.
