Some of His greatest "MAGICS" are
Creating super speciality hospitals in a matter of 9 months. Procedures which cost few lakhs per patient are totally done free of cost for all. Irrespective of their caste, creed and religioin. The hospital is almost 20 years old now and still treating thousands of poor people for free.
2) His magic involves in inspiring thousands of people who carried on this good tradition todate. For example , go to narayana hrudayalaya and see for yourself who is the inspiration for Mr. Shetty.
3) One more of His magic was to supply pure drinking water to the most draught hit district in India. This He completed in a record time of one year involving spending of some 300 crores. The poor people in my home district still cherish His drinking water. UN even recognized it as one of it's feat which could not be done even by the First World
4) Some more of his magics are totally free world class educational institutions which offer free education from KG to P.hd.
The first thing the Indian media is interested in in NEGETIVE ASPECTS. Atleast we citizens learn to be different and start looking at POSITIVE things of life too.

@ PAvan, Sai Baba is a great man and has contributed to the Indian culture and Hindu religion. He has devotees across the world from different regions, religions and castes. A person who is acclaimed this way are very less. He is inspirational for many youth on values aspects of life

Thanks Pavan for your views. I am not a devotee but definitely an admirer of Sai Baba. He definitely did a lot of good work which nobody does in today's time. I don't know if he is God but he is definitely a super human being much above common mortals like us. We should not look at his Bibhuti magic but the real magic which you mentioned in your post. I support your view fully.

Well said Sumit, I too share your thoughts fully. My mother, wife & many relatives are staunch devotees of Baba. But something within me has always prevented me from accepting him as GOD. As Pavan rightly pointed out, media today is only interested in sensationlism where negative aspects are always highlighted instead of positive things.
Maybe Baba is a magician who performs the Vibhuti & Shivling tricks, but then nobody can deny that he has helped innumerable people till date & continues to do so with his various projects like imparting free education & health services & teachings of simple & good values of life.
I have visited Puttaparthi once about 4 years ago. Though I was hesitant at first & went there only to accompany my wife who insisted on my coming, I must admit that I felt very good after visiting there.
I will always be an admirer of Baba for his excellent humanitarian work. maybe I cant accept him as GOD but he is definitely no less than a saint.

Even though he swindles people in his goldiness, he is the only one his kind who do incalculable social service which is beyond anyone's comprehension. He makes sure all his donation goes for right causes including 100 crores for Gujrat earthquake victims, 10 crores for mumbai flood issues, improving a faction ridden rayalseema region in Andhra called Anantpur to a progressive 24 hour water supply and power supply "FREE OF COST"!! Do you want anything more?? He is not the typical swindlers who give 10 rupees to save 1000 bucks!!

These great sarod players also played in the UN recently for bringing together world peace on the occassion of September 11s 9th anniversary. Thats what is so good about Indian muslims in general except for a few nut cases.

Heart surgery for small children are done free of charge at his Bangalore hospital (the only one of its kind in the world).

Jai Babu, once the world renowned Rationalist, the late Dr.A.T.Kovoor had challenged him to produce a watermelon from the air instead of vibhuti, seiko watch, ring, etc. He was a real fraud at that time but later on he seems to have reformed and took up worthy causes.
I am a firm believer of all human beings have God in them. what is so spl about this sai baba???? special treatment like this does not look good. the real saibaba never sat in this type of cushion seat.
