His main purpose, right from day one, was to nudge India to open its economy and make room for american companies to do business in India. Another purpose was to drop a few feelers to find possibilities for putting some cracks in china-pakistan nexus, using India. The rest was just sweet talk. If Indian polliticians are so gullible, and have rosy glasses on their eyes, its a fault of none other, but their own.

Don't we know the basic fact that a responsible leader of any country viaits other country to enhance the prestige and benefits accrueing to his country.He does not come distributing freebees.If the host country benefits on the sidelines,it does not concern him.
