Kaka, Sayeed only meant that we should not be so obsessed with Pak that we start to label our own muslims as Pak agents. Some of them may differ in their views from us but so do many people with Hindu names. Compared to people like Arundhati Roy or the JNU lefties, most muslim indians are patriotic and nationalistic and are tired of Pak and its ways.
I am glad to see more muslim indians on this site.
Humayun not an invader? Next he will say China did not invade us in 1963. Merely because the Chinese crossed the line, can we call them invaders, can we? I can here this pro-pak, pro-Chinese, anti-American, American visa-holder braying.
Experience counts a lot! Pakistan's role over the past three decades made things difficult for India to believe their words. They had once opened the gate of friendship; India trusted them and they made back-door entry in Kargil, followed by many an event that led to the unearthing of direct roles played by ISI and the Military aimed at destabilizing India on one hand and on the other moving to vex Kashmir! Of course, with the US aid! How can the people of India be blamed even if Indians' Pak Obsession is a reality? India's developments were adversely affected by holding India to defend round the clock with loss of men and material! Our developments were two-steps-forward and one-step-backward at the behest of Pakistani strategy.How can one say Indians should not be Pak-obsessed! While on India-US relationship, it is clear that at the rate of GDP poised to working out around 9% progress, and at the same time US finds itself on the backseat for over three years period, it is of their utmost interest to tap the business potential in India to its maximum advantage! This is worrying factor. Because, when US is aiming its products enmass moving into Indian markets, the domestic production is likely to be hit with adversarial situation. It can leave our Economy saddled with competing with US products and India will become looser. If we do not work out a counter productive policy, US will find itself enjoying out of a clever game tactfully played during US President's India Trip
With all due regard to the Pak politicians, it is my humble advice that we should support Pakistan with a Military regim instead of democratic. In that case, India will have to deal with only one power centre instead of three--the democratic govt., the military and the ISI. Come what may, we should support a military govt. I am sure India would be in a better position to deal with the Pakistan, the regim of Mussaraf proved to be less combersome for India to deal Pakistan. I understand, as per news papers report, that india and Pakistan were almost at agreement on K issue during Mussaraf time. All knows once this issue is resolved, India and Pakistan would be the happiest neighbours and Pakistan surely will wipe out all forms of terrorism from its land. As on date, though, terrorism is harming Pakistan but it is her necessacity to harbour it to create problen in IndiA
