2)      Biomass in abundance available from crop, forest residue and MSW need to be converted to fuel. This would substitute fossil fuel to huge quantities and can be fired using multi fuel burners. The technology already being used in your country and many parts of Europe needs application in our large power stations. This can come in new multifuel biomass based power stations which will have local and global appreciation with a green power label. The beneficiary will be farmers, forest workers, tribal labour and least to say the industry .The emphasis is to generate power to reduce the deficit with focus on biomass fuel which is available.
3)      Surface transport needs prompt attention as logistics are the bloodline of any economy. Your technology in road building, bridges flyovers with appropriate topographical mapping needs application here.
4)      Large industrial production facility for Asian markets to have competitive edge can be setup here in nuclear, space, power, automobile and agriculture sector.

We have witnessed the 60's acute food shortage syndrome. Grain sorghum, or milo, is second in value to corn among feed grains. Very little sorghum is used for direct human consumption. Many of us still have in our memory the taste of milo that was given by the USA as food to us.
Indians believe to share the bread they have and never mean to grab opportunities through outsourcing. The Indian IT sector is that young generation which has contributed to the fast demands of every natio

10 years before India was creating jobs in USSR- Russia by buying all the defence weapons from them and creating jobs there. Now US wants to the same. India instead making the weapons in India and creating new jobs, spending money and giving business to US and others. who is clever here.? Do China also but weapons from other countries.?

YEs, but then something remarkable happened. BJP government was formed iin the center that conducted Pokhran 2, defied global sanctions threat, opened up telecom and banking sectors, undertook a massive infrsastructure program that includes building good highways vriss crossing the nation. Alas, then cam UPA which is taking India backwards with reservation politics, castes in census, corruption in telecom and militray, nepotism and incompetence everywhere. The growth spark that was ignited 10 years ago is soon fading

US is the no 1 country in arms export. 90% of the arms they sell to third world countries. If you think India is doing great by buying weapons and other things from US and creating jobs then u need to grow up. Indians should feel proud when other countries request India to invest their and want to buy our products.

Open letter to US President Obama-1
by Subhash Niyogi on Nov 07, 2010 08:52 PM

An open letter to,
To,
President Barack Obama,

Excellency,
India is an agro based economy self sufficient in food at present. We have been growing in industry, IT, space, telecommunication, trade over the last decade and attribute it to a balanced and trustworthy economy. It has promoted an earthly, moral, rational, and unsentimental ability to learn from repeated experience and is democratic to the core.
Your visit to India certainly has our above values in the backdrop and we look forward to an unbiased and mutually growing time tested relationship as an outcome of the deliberations that follow in these two days.
May I offer some leads in service:
1)      Agriculture is an area needs to be addressed as we have all four seasons with regions having temperate to tropical conditions and soil conditions varying as with the climatic condition. We have extremes of rainfall and drought also. The surplus of rain can cater to the drought or scanty regions by uniting the river Ganga with river Cauvery as they pass from the North to the South. By uniting these rivers under the garland canal visualized by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru vast stretches of barren and rich soil will turn fertile offering employment to millions and a booming agricultural revolution. The benefits to your technology and our economy are certain and assured.
Subhash A Niyogi
