Lets get real. Given a choice most of the countries in so called "encircle" china plan will rather partner with china than India. Hell, even our so neighbours will join hands with china than us. India outside delhi commands no respect for good reasons. Look at the clown class of politicians we have in the parliament and inside out ugly, corrupt, ignorant, illiterate middle class. Dream on! reality bites, yikes!

In the first 9 months this year, the total of trade between China and SE Asia reached US$211 billion, and SE Asia happliy enjoys trade surplus. Who wants to be the enemy of money?

What you said is so true. But Indian gov and media like to bluff to amuse some listerners. As I said before, no Chinese neighhors want to be China's enemy. The more imprtant: India's military power has no capability to reach east Asia.
