Indeed a great work. This kind of help and assistance is truly needed when police does no work in this kind of situations.

Looking forward to open such centres across India.

Love Jihad - Begining of Social Engineering?
by Argumentative Indian on May 28, 2010 06:23 PM  | Hide replies

Lot of noise being generated about Love Jihad. Is this a build up for another regionalized 'Social Engineering' or 'Social Experiment' a la Gujarat 2002 or Orissa 2009, we know by which party?

I personally think this is a good time to topple the UPA, lead (ha ha) by MMS. Nitin Gadkari has a good opportunity to create value now, but another Gujarat, may once again fragment votes. Lets wait and watch.

Is Kerala religiously conservative?
by Argumentative Indian on May 28, 2010 06:20 PM

I wonder, is Kerala a communally volatile place?
Many years ago, there was a movie called 'Bombay', a Mani Ratnam movie, I think, about this Hindu - Muslim couple from Kerala, falling in love and then coming to Mumbai and then the '92 riots etc. I still remember the Kerala scenes, the pretty conservative Hindu & Muslim parents etc. Ofcourse a part is dramatic license, but are the communities pretty rigid there? I would have thought a communist and 100% literate state would be more modern (read that as Gon Non Fearing) than religiously orthodox or even conservative.

Any comments?
