such AIDS centres need to be built in other states as well. personally,i think cure for AIDS will be found within 20 years.. as it is disease of immune system and one which has long time factor. if diseases like smallpox, malaria, syphilis,TB,polio etc have found cures..AIDS with its lesser range of symptoms should find cure.it is just waiting for a quinine-like cure.
The work being done by dr. Manorama is heart wrenching to say the least...for me ppl like her are living proof of god's existence...i salute her for her work...most of us would probably run away the minute we see an HIV person...i guess most of us are paranoid abt aids eventhough we all know how it spreads...we all will have to shed our paranoia and try and alleviate the suffering of these children...i pray to god that these children live long enough to make the disease irrelevant

Thank you Dr.Manorama for your wonderful work. May we have many more people like you. More harmful than the HIV virus is the social stigma associated with it and India has a long way to go to tackle the problem. We need to spread information and knowledge.
as a Indian i appreciate Dr. Manorama's work. she set a example to those people who are fighting. and i pray that all people should learn from Dr.Manorama's work.
a big applaud for rediff for bringing up such articles about her .nowadays we read only read about the newsmakers ,the filmstars ,politicians and money makers.
