generations ago? even people who settled 15 years ago lay claim to city. one person compared it to the unreserved compartment of the train where people who get in first secure a seat and then close the door not allowing others to get in.
If people have bigger agenda like my Mahrshtra, My Chennai n other crap why would politicians wor on small agenda like safety of people. U guys should kill each other. Thts wht is remaining. Raj Thakre the idiot has not done a single thing for so called Marathi manus but still won the election. Sad part is people fighting here are well educated, most of u must have been in different part of the world too..noone stop u guys to going there if u have agenda(like business n wor) then why should anyone in India be stopped to going anywhere. The thing which is needed is law enforcement, maintenance, education. When poor states won't have work, food n education they will go to richer states n noone should and will stop them.

My brother remember that Mumbai is developed due to people from other states who had made this town their karmbhumi yes they have taken from this region but what was hard earned by them they have the brains and hardship to do so. If your ancestors weren’t smart enough for that why are you grumping now. Let’s put your idea for action and remove all other from Mumbai expect people from this state. In that case policemen, best, municipal, lawyers and people like you will be left in this town with no businesses. AND are you thinking of over taking their abandoned houses and businesses like people do during riots is this what you have learnt from great Maharaj Shivaji. Even he didn’t stop people from other states to enter his region, he stood against the cruel invaders (in that era, as mentioned in history). If we keep discussing this nonsense then we are surely going to divide this great country filled with diversity. Do you intend to divide this great country whose freedom was obtained by the joint effort of all out ancestors. Why don’t we concentrate on our development along with our brothers and sisters and fight with our grave issues standing side by side.

Hi Shravan & Rahul,
Guys we Indians/ Mumbaikar/ Maharashtraians, etc.. etc.. Have learnt so much and we are over educated with new studies that we just forget the basic rule of Britisher who rules on us. That 'DIVIDE and RULE' now a days all are doing same and fools like us start a topic on this and start giving example. Please think on it and then reponse on comment.
If Railways would have been serious about Human Life or the conditions of Travel or the facilities available. Then things would not have been the way it is. People travel like cattle being taken to the slaughter house. People travel on roof tops like travelling in some part of Uttar Pradesh.
The pantry facility stinks, the Toilets are better if they don;t exist. People are forced to climb bridges where other countries have adopted escalators more than 4 decades ago. There is always a never ending Q at the ticket counters no increase in timings of counters or introduction of new counters.
Slums, Garbage open Drains on either side of the Tracks, no one is bothered to clean/clear them & eradicate the slums so people can have an infection free ride to & fro.
Come on what world are people living in the railways minister & staffers think. We are Tax Payers not slaves that we are forced to travel like this.
Motormen are being harrassed while worthless people sitting in Railway offices are being paid chunks for not doing any work & setting an example of empty desks.
How long will this continue. Time for people to start raising concerns. In this condition we cannot call Indian Railways the biggest in all terms, we still have a lot to learn from the world. Some may prefer to be a patriot & say the Railways are best. If so wake up & realize U R being treated like slave.
when a serious issue like fire at dadar our young brothers r fighting on region and language. if this is the culture of some people, such fires can happen anywhere any time.show culture, respect others and treat others as human beings .orelse GOD can directly punish you for your wrong words and deeds. believe it.
You should see the crowding and scant regard for fire safety at Dadar and most other local stations, to realise that such accidents can happen almost anytime. Thank God for 'no casualties' Amazing to see naked flames for making potatoo wadas, right on the platfoms!

Sorry Boss Mumbai is not for everyone to come & stay Mumbai belongs to us Mumbaikars who are born & Brought up in the Maharashtrian Culture & respect the same. Don't challenge our spirit. Mumbai belongs to Domicile people & not to all others who drop in every other day & claim this city to be theirs. We pay taxes so the Nation gets their Salary. If we revolt then U can imagine. The Samyukta Maharashtra Movement is an example & it will repeat itself if necessary to safe guard this city from Invasion.
