My understanding is that Mughals used muslim rajputs (chandravanshi) to subdue the suryavanshi rajputs - more specifically the janjhua rajputs who claim to be decendents of Arjuna

I wouldn't be surprised by BJP keeps on harping on Ram. Probably, they are the disgruntled suryavanshi lot. The martial tribes of South Asia that once listened to the Brahmins have completely changed the dynamics of India. Indian history is very unique.

By the way, Britishers used Janjuas to subdue the sikh jats of Ranjit Singh and sent them to asylum in British. If you use logic to decode the true history of India, every action will be understood.
You will have all sorts of idiots like this one claiming someone as the author of the idea of India. This chap says Zafar Shah, kangis say Nehru others will say Sonia. Sychophancy knows no limits. The idea of India is older than Asoka. Shankaracharya did not set up mutts all over to set up a franchisee but because he considered it one country. There are innumerable other egs. but there are some who toe the British line that they created India.

Yet, there is blood shed and lunatics propogate the idea of 72 virigins... literate, educated and wise guys like you should come forward and bring your community into the present day world on par with other communities. No one is perfect--mistakes do happen. But we ought to learn from them and ensure that they do not happen again

My understanding is that the British and the Mughals fought with each other for their right to exploit India.
