Chidambaram's talk with MP's
by Narasimharao Chitturi on May 10, 2010 08:53 PM

There are people in Dantewada region who can understand and interpret the tribals in their language. They should be appointed with consultation and approval from locals(lest the naxals will misguide the locals) and through them they should understand the views of the locals and then take any action.
I had lived in that area for seven years and I understand the apprehensions of the locals. The locals fear/dibelieve very much all people wearing pants and shirts and in this context one should try to understand and help solve their problems and make them understand who are their benefactors--naxals or Govt. Then most of the problems will get solved and at the same time they should be heavily protected from the naxal's guns.

Dont let any human right violation take place. Let policing be professional. Maoists wont get chance to be hero and win heart of villagers. And most importantly open job skills training center. library with audio-visual facility to learning. this will open up mind for development.

Dear friends. I would like to inform to you that a poor hindu woman in her 70s expect death any time due to illness came to Chennai by air. She was never ever a terorist however the Govt of India cruely denied her permission to land in Indian soil. Her name is Parvati Amma & she happened to be the mother of V. Prabhakaran.Lakhs of bangladeshis illegaly entering in this country and some of our own state GOVT'S are against to sending them back to banladesh. Look the case of Adnan Sami a pakistani citizen leading a wonderfull life in India as if he is an Indian citizen. I have thousnd of example where people from other religion are given refuge and they terned terorist against our own country. It was very cruel act from the pm & am to deny permission to a 70 year old Hind woman denied permission for treatment in India.

My suggestion to Parvati Amma and such others is to convert themselves to Islam to get better treatment from our Govt.

same here; may be its a secret.... but I dont think 1hr meeting is enough... it will probably be just about right for deciding on what to discuss/ agenda... and the duration should be something like a 2-day worksop...

ACT NOW
by Sandeep Mukherjee on May 10, 2010 01:48 PM  | Hide replies

but key political elements of the "republic of india" are pro maoist and helping them overtly and covertly.. like mamta banerjee, nitish kumar, soren etc..the local MPs and MLAs have death threats hanging over them and their families' heads! who will dare? any action taken by the govt are virulently opposed by the "intellectuals" and NGOs.. the govt is forever soft on these open maoist sympathisers for some strange reason ! maybe its poltical correctness ! but pl remember that if the maoists take over india there will be no politics, no media or political correctness left! in cambodia these maoists had caused the deaths of 2.2 million out of a total population of 7 million in 4 years! in china crores died during the so called 'great leap forward' and the 'cultural revolution'.. in peru.. the killings of the 'shining path' maoists are still continuing! in nepal nearer home anyone can see whats happening ! the paradise destroyed in 10 years of insurgency and under the new maoist "democracy"! for india soon it will be too late if we dont ACT NOW !

The NittyGritty of Tribal Alienation
by D goel on May 10, 2010 01:35 PM

D. goel Afternoon, 1.40pm, Monday, May 10, 2010,Panchkula.
the meeting of MPs with Sri Chidambaranm UPA Home Minister amongst many other things brought out a very important aspect of alienation of Adibasis' alienation to regional Hindi Language that the tribals follow but cannot respond to if asked, by officious Government Servants as they do not speak any other than their own local language. This leads to immediate suspicion and doubt about their role in the frightful circumstances of Violent upheavals of Naxalis in the deep Forests of Dantawda /Bijapur among police workers.. We must, therefore ,train some anthropologists to quickly prepare working Manuals for our Staff-Use immediately so that our State Agencies do not mistake simple Tribals to be violent Naxalis just because they fail to respond to the queries of Police in Hindi. We must do this hey Presto! D. Goel

long neglect
by Sandeep Mukherjee on May 10, 2010 01:18 PM  | Hide replies

the maoist menace has taken deep roots due to decades of negligence. very superficial efforts were made by the govt to tackle it. in the meantime the naxalite killers and their supporters slowly built up strength.. a lethal armoury..a wide network of spies, infiltration of the security forces and govt depts., complete subversion of the intelligentsia, propaganda against the indian democratic state, complete terrorisation of the local population etc..now its a state of war.. and has to be faced like a war against these forces of mass terror and genocide.. the AP govt had successfully destroyed the maoist forces in that state sometime back due to brilliant strategy and handling.. the same model has to be applied everywhere thru consensus and by stopping political skull duggery between cong, bjp, JDu etc!

Its no more anything between the political parties. Its a war between the Republic of India and these antinational forces teamed up with forcess from China and others. This should be understood by Chidambaram's detractors within his party and outside. AP governments efforts were good, but still there are large pockets of naxals in the state. This green hunt will certainly help if some of our naive citizens and rights activists are silenced. Other states will follow suit but the MPs and MLAs of the affected areas are mostly naxal sympathisers (not due to political reasons but due to fear of the gun and also sometimes getting financial help from them during elections) so they have to be kept in rein too.
