this historical verdict by a karnal court will send a strong message to the goons sitting at different places and running parllel governments and deciding about personal lives of the people that who will love to whom and marry to whom.the verdict should be honoured and executed at the earliest and court should also see that a person responsible for planning for grusome murder of two innocent lovers also do not escape the gallows

Well, there is a historical judgement for the sack of judgement only. See there are a lot of courts to change this decision and forgive or give a benefit of doubts to the culprits. Atleast I am sure that none of these culprits will be ever hanged because there is a long Queue of mercy petitions and the '' is not crawling. Thanks the Indian law.
On one hand, they boast (falsely) of going in to the 21st century while on the other hand, they cannot get out of their Stone age mindset. As a result, Kangress still prefers Muslims & BC over India's Development as crutches for limping to Power, majority still cling to the caste system (rather than adopting an open mindset) believing it to be the only thing in this world etc etc. Till we improve drastically, such crimes as the one committed above in Haryana will keep recurring.
For next 20 years because the secular govt want to hear Gujrat Riot cases on priority before next election and we have limited capability in our supreme court.
This verdict will indeed establish the belief of people in Law and Judiciary. It proves that, if any case presented properly before Court of Law, then nobody should be deprived of the right verdict.
I hope the higher courts uphold this judgement. The Khap Panchayats are a curse... This happening in the state of Haryana which is considered one of hte more prosperous states in the country is the reminder that it is just economy but education that matters.... The khap members deserve death

Haryana is a state filled with MCPs! It has the lowest female/male gender ration and female infanticide and selective abortion of female unborn infants is rampant! The figures for education and inoculation of the girl child are also abysmal! Any wonder that DIG Rathore of Ruchika molestation infamy is from Haryana??

Punjab and Haryana are worst in terms of honor killings and female infanticide and foeticide, and besides it Delhi takes the cake.
Honor killing is mostly a Islamic and western India phenomenon. There have been incidences of honor killing by these people in Europe and North America.
